Hi,

I just bought Project Cars with Logitech G27 wheel set.
Is there a racing /truck game for a 5 year old boy in combination with the G27 (without the pedals)?

Thanks in advance!

rFactor Mod "Miniville" comes to my mind:

You also should be able to map throttle/brakes i.e. to the G27 shifter paddles (within rFactor).

Thank Igaganas, but I spent hours to install it without any success.
Do you have another idea (not rFactor related?)

TIA

If you have a working rFactor1 install, this should be pretty straight forward:

Just extract the content of "Miniville_Mod" Folder into your rFactor-Main directory (this should overwrite/extend "GameData" and "rFm" Folders).

What is exactly the problem/not working?

I did execute the Download Links of the site https://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=miniville
Try our 1-click install.
Gives missing rFactor.exe

Ah ok, try the normal download link (not the 1-click installer) and extract the file manually.

My file name is "Miniville_mod_really_final.rar" (also downloaded from rfactorcentral), this should work fine (manual installation).

Edit: You could also try running the 1-click installer from within the rfactor main-directory (maybe it finds the exe this way, otherwise manual install).

Rajah, DISABLE force feedback, it's dangerous for kids

Did download Miniville V1.0 [MediaFire] = Miniville_mod_really_final.rar so, ok.
In map rFactor
Extraxt files > maps:
GameData
rFm
Templates

No exe file to start with... (Not at you)

Thats fine (correct files), the game is still started via rfactor.exe!

Just make sure, you copy them over the right rfactor-folders (GameData & rFm).

Ahhh... should be an idea that Project CARS have a start environment for kids.

Ok, thats your problem (also with the 1-click installer).

"Miniville" is a MOD (modification) for rFactor1, so you need rFactor1 properly installed to run it. Without it's not going to work.

Yes, thats it.

But be aware it's a bit "dated" (rFactor lovers, don't kill me for that), so don't expect pCars graphics or physics (Release date was 2005).

Other than that, it's quite an interesting playground for mod(ification)s. See rFactor-Central.

It's also on Steam...

With this in mind,
You also should be able to map throttle/brakes i.e. to the G27 shifter paddles
how can I do that with the G27 and the Kart of Project Cars?

Shifter paddles are not analogic, they will work as on and off.
