Quoted for truth lol. It was funny how he was just cool as ice the whole time while she was just freaking out non stop. Shows you how much confidence and skill those drivers have to do that like it's nothing at all.

"Take me out of here!"

That was pretty classic. She's got to be thinking: you do this for a living??

Not sure about it. They will run with LMP2 in the next year Tudor Sportscar Series

They ran with LMP2 since TUDOR was formed. But i think it was announced Daytonas will be no more within 1-2 years. I think there will be only 1 prototype at the top class of TUDOR by 2017

I don't think they have actually made a final decision on that yet.

Even if they are going away, they still look fun as hell to drive, they just end up as a historic race car rather than a current one.

oh, and apparently Bentley is looking at doing a DP (assuming the class sticks around)

But this year they are running with LMPC, now there will be the three classes. too bad, they are great cars.

Nice thing is we have LMP2 cars already, so a DP to two would expand an existing class.

Wouldn't mind a deltawing too. Same class.

Yes they are gone from 2017, IMSA LMP2 rules will allow manufactures to alter bodywork to show brand and renaming too. Although IMSA P2 will be eligible for Le Mans they will have to revert back to ACO spec bodywork for the race. LMP2 IMSA engines will also remain open (no diesel) and be eligible for Le Mans but WEC are restricted to the single engine supplier (not announced yet)

Hope that helps
