View Full Version : Official statement needed - Are car physics affected by FFB-tweaks?

I strongly believe there is no loop-back or direct dependancy between FFB-settings and any physics engine manipulations that happen by that.

So why did I open this thread?

1. I heard this from many racers since launch of pCars
2. I always countered that by explaining that it could not be from a technical point of view

3. I would love to get an official statement from the devs on this to put the rumor to sleep once and for all.

Thanks in advance!

No absolutely not. The physics are the same whether you play with a $1,000 Fanatec setup or a zero-FFB $20 keyboard.

100% Same physics.

I think this mostly comes due to the individual wheel settings. As far as I know the FFB is physics driven and for example setup changes may change the FFB, but not the other way around. Although you might feel different as you can totally mess up the FFB settings and driving is horrible, or get it right and have a blast. Or land somewhere in the middle.
