Had a game of Project Gotham 4 on xbox360 not played it for a long time . Can't believe how well it still plays and graphics are still brilliant . It runs silky smooth as well.
I really expected it to have aged a lot but I am shocked as to how good it still is. Started career mode all over again and I cannot put the game down.
Imagine an xboxone version racing around the famous cities with graphics on par with Forza 6. Why has MS abandoned this as it is different to forza with the real cities and street circuit racing.
Even riding the bikes was cool.

That franchise has a lot of fans, a huge cult following and left a legacy that other games of the same genre just couldn't live up to.

Why this franchise was dropped is beyond me, it's a fun, semi serious arcade racer which amazing action.

I'm almost certain that it would sell better than drive club, even if MS released a HD Remix of the series.

I am sure a new one would sell by the bucket load.
I bought everyone of them since Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast.
They were all amazing and system sellers.
Since Forza is more about collecting cars and racing on real circuits I really believe they can both exist.
Maybe SMS could take on the job hin hint Ian!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe a petition to Microsoft studios would do the trick.Wonder what happened to Bizarre Creations?
Probably most went to Turn 10.

PGR series is awesome, it's one of the reasons I bought a X360.

Bizarre Creations was a British video game development studio based in Liverpool (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool), best known for their racing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_video_game) titles: Metropolis Street Racer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolis_Street_Racer) (Dreamcast (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamcast)) and the followup Project Gotham Racing series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Gotham_Racing_%28series%29) (Xbox (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_%28console%29), Xbox 360 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360)). The company has also developed games in other genres, including the Geometry Wars (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geometry_Wars) arcade series, plus third-person shooters Fur Fighters (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fur_Fighters) and The Club (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Club_%28video_game%29). Bizarre Creations was acquired by publisher Activision (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activision) in 2007, and subsequently completed its racer Blur (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blur_%28video_game%29) in May 2010.
On 20 January 2011, Activision announced Bizarre Creations would close, and later confirmed the date. Bizarre marked the closure by releasing a retrospective video of its life's work.[1] (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-02-18-bizarre-says-goodbye-with-farewell-video#cm-2156706)

Another passionate studio that was chafed in a struggle between two big publishers?

The Bizarre Creations team was initially five strong, and worked on a concept project called "Slaughter". After seeing the demo, Psygnosis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psygnosis) signed the team onto Formula 1 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_1_%28video_game%29) (for PlayStation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation)). Formula 1 went on to become the best selling game in Europe in 1996.
In 2006, the studio announced a break in its racing genre (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_game) sequence with The Club (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Club_%28video_game%29). A third-person (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_camera_system) shooter, the game was released on 7 February 2008.
On 26 September 2007, publisher Activision (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activision) acquired Bizarre Creations.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarre_Creations#cite_note-2) for $107.4m; $67.4m immediately payable with a further $40m contingent hitting certain goals over a 5-year period.[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarre_Creations#cite_note-3)
Activision announced that Project Gotham Racing 4 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Gotham_Racing_4) would be Bizarre Creations' last game for Microsoft Game Studios (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Studios_%28game_studio%29),[4] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarre_Creations#cite_note-4) and Activision did not pursue the rights for the Project Gotham Racing franchise.
On 16 November 2010, Activision announced it was considering closing Bizarre and "exploring our options regarding the future of the studio, including a potential sale of the business".[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarre_Creations#cite_note-5) Activision later stated that no buyer could be found and that the studio would close.[6] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarre_Creations#cite_note-6)

OMG

Playground Games Although founded in 2009, Playground Games (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playground_Games) expanded greatly in 2011 with the hiring of a large number of ex Bizarre Creations staff. Their first game was Forza Horizon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forza_Horizon), an open world driving game in the vein of Project Gotham Racing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Gotham_Racing).

I would love Microsoft to do another Project Gotham Racing game I have really liked the game series and consider it the spiritual sequel the great Dreamcast Metropolis Street Racer game. At the very least I hope the 360 will be added to the Xbox One backwards compatible games list.

I love Project Gotham on my 360. Still play it from time to time as its so good. The graphics were incredible, better than Forza and the wet weather was incredible. I loved hacking around the streets of New York. Might fire it up tonight.

The very best arcade racer, spent many happy hours playing 2 and 3, both off and online :)

I don't think any racing game has given me the thrills an variety Gotham had on offer, from racing, through time attack and whoring kudos in cone challenges! Good times :D

Adding bikes into the mix was genius for an arcade racer.
