Adding it up it'll be 410 for T3PA + GTE...

Saving of 50-ish in total but that is one hefty outlay.

It is a lot of money but its all about having choices and not having to pay for a set of peddles and or components you really don't want .

Brushless - Based on the 300 wheel then?

Is this the exact base as when you buy the default TX Wheel with steering wheel and pedals?

Nice gesture, but will wait for the direct drive servo offering before moving on from my T500.

Much more interesting for me is the new 30cm diameter alcantara rim:

Drooooool. Now THAT I like. The original T500 GT rim is still the best simply due to the 30 cm diameter, great that they're putting out a leather option as well. =)

So what's the price?
Edit: I mean the price of the 30cm add on wheel

It appears this base is the base of the TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458. I'm not quite up to speed on all of the TM products, so how different is the 458 from the T300?

That wheel looks lovely. Been flirting with the idea of the TM 28 GT wheel for ages. Whilst the pre-labelling of buttons is not my preference, it's a very minor (and personal) negative - but the size increase, look of it, much neater looking implementation of the hat switch and the small swells in the rim @ 10/2 and flattened bottom for corner holding look great. Will keep my eye on this. I'm sure it'll be north of 150 considering the TM 28 GT price... :(

I would also assume (or hope!) the servo base for the T300 comes out too - as it would make sense to close of the ecosystem, as already mentioned before.

Absolutely. I was very, very nearly one of them.

Tbh I've been wondering if they were going to update the F1 wheel just considering it's relative age. Of course not much has really changed in terms of wheel tech in F1 between then and now - but it's the elder statesman of their ecosystem of add-ons I think.

Would have been nice if the T300 was available as standalone base when I bought mine.

Brushless - Based on the 300 wheel then?

More like the other way around. The T300 is based off of the TX, since the TX came out long before the T300.

My understanding is that they are pretty much the same, except that the T300 has 1080 degree rotation vs 900 degree for the TX. And one is compatible with PS and the other for Xbox, obviously.

I prefer leather over alcantara, so I would've chosen the TM 28 anyway. I don't really care about 30cm vs 28cm though.

Thanks, the rotation difference wouldn't be an issue for me. I've be looking for a modular build since I plan to run different pedals and this may be an option where I don't have to buy a bundle that comes with pieces I have no intent to use....

You missed the most important detail.. that wheel is 30" !! like the T500, but obviously better because of the Alcantara.

A 30" wheel would be gigantic.

It's 30cm, not 30 inches. It would be the same size as something like this:

That is cool, I wanted to replace my G25 some time, and as I'd like to have a modular system and the Fanatec is too expensive, the Thrustmasters are looking great. Wanted to have the T300 Ferrari GTE with the 500 pedals, but now seeing the base and the 30cm Alcantara wheel...well, nice one from Thrustmaster.

Question for people with add on wheels, can the paddles be taken off the rim as I use t500 and prefer them fixed to the base..

Maybe could try using a 30" wheel for Euro Truck Simulator.
