It was a simple question you failed to answer as it seems :p

You want me to go through every time I've credited you?

Come on, give it a rest. The argumentative attitude & nitpicking at everyone's comments is getting old.

Yes please.
One quote where you credted me for organzing this. Will you find one? l dont think so.

The thing is, you want me to give you credits for a logo that can be reproduced in 5 minutes, but you fail to give credit to others yourself. (In this case me)
Especially because l have thanked you multiple times for being my co-host in the past, but never got anything back :p

"Nitpicking at everyone's comments". Wow! Solid argument.

Screw it, I can do without this - I quit.

Good luck to everyone else - been good racing with you.

Thats very sad, really.
That you rather quit before writing a "Thank you".

Goodbye.

From my side I would give all recognition possible to both of you if it would help stop this insane discussion.

THANK YOU Pink - I'm looking forward for future races here and your well-deserved organization.
THANK YOU Chig - I want to see 88 on the track, don't leave! And we can't lose our graphic designer!

Next beer round is on me ;)

No, the one with the most positions gained gets a point.
And Driver of the Race gets 2 points because its a special award that other people have to give you.

Based on the starting position.
I started from P4
I would have gained in the last race one place.
But fell back to P12 and then back to P3. How will you evaluate this.

I would say, you got 1 position at the end. Started P4, ended P3! Only final stand counts...

In addition to Malts comment, yes, in the results it looks average but you probably passed 6th/7th after 3/4 laps and disappeared, if that was me in 6th, id vote for you, a very impressive drive. I guess replays will have to be used to determine drive of the race (should Pink choose to add this in.)

But in terms off places gained from the grid, it will only be one.

For the positions gained, we might have often the case that more than one driver will get the same number gained positions. Will all drivers get the extra point then?
For Best Racer is more difficult. Either each one must save and watch the replay (unless there is an extreme case like you said, someone dropping and recovering and doing nice moves), otherwise each racer should name another racer who he believes deserve the credit. At the end the racer with more indications gets it - which is also open for draws.

If drivers should gain equal positions, each one will get the extra point.

l dont think you should make it more complicated than it is :p
Each driver should vote for the driver THEY think deserve it. Let it be by witnessing a good performance of a driver during the race, by looking at the boards and comparing starting to finishing position, or by viewing the replay. Its up to everyone themselves how much info they want and need before they decide who to pick.
l guess l will pick the driver that stood out the most to me during the races most of the time. If l really cant decide l will look at the replay.

But if everyone took the replay as help, there would be only few drivers to pick objectively. Thats why l would like the drivers to pick the one they think did the best job in their "radius". Understand what l mean? :)

l already have an idea how to implement the voting system, but will keep it to myself until its finished.

Just a quick calculation how the standing would look like based on this month's results.
Current System with Bonus
Current System without Bonus
New Points as suggested by Pink (18-16-14-13...)

Sunday - apart from points, there is no change in order.
Monday - a few drivers would switch position.

218808

There are small discrepancies with the actual results, I will review if I have copied & pasted all results correctly.

@Pink: once the rules are defined, I can create a new file for you to help you calculate all these extra points (if you want/need of course!), or perhaps just publish it in Google Documents, making it easier to share results via a link.
Later we can add fancy graphs and statistics!

Here the direct links to all results so far:

@Malt: As expected the standings would closer without bonus points.
With the 18-16-14 system l wanted to counter your fear that 3rd of 4th places could earn more points that the 1st overall, due to the bonus points, and l think it will help.
But we'll have to see how it turns out in the end.
If it does not work, l would be okay with dropping bonus points altogether.

Based on the starting position.
I started from P4
I would have gained in the last race one place.
But fell back to P12 and then back to P3. How will you evaluate this.

To everyone creating pictures, I think I know what is the issue with the "transparent" background.
Once you finish your design, do not click the Finished button. Just right click and Save Image As...

Can you guys please do me a favor?

Please create your personal Race Number (http://www.racinggraphics.com/number-kits.aspx) here.
When you are done editing, instead of clicking on "Finished", just copy and paste the number and send them to me in a PM in this forum.
l would like to use them for something. So please, l need them asap. :)

:D No worries, l'm used to it :)
I must say though, l like the brasilian 77 :o

Of course you guys can pick whatever you like, but the colors are identical!!!

You can change the colors of each layer in the Advanced Mode...

Ok mate, I don't think we're that stupid. I simply saved the image and posted on the forum like it was explained and instead it posted a generic version of the number I chose. My colours were red, white and blue with a black shadow. It doesn't even have the font I selected!.... I'm a little grumpy, sorry :(

Try copying the URL of the site and then put it here in the thread, that should work :)

You dont have to.
I stated that both days will have combined team standings in October.
If you dont want to, thats okay.

For sure you are not stupid! Maybe is the browser? Which one have you used? I'm using Firefox over here, and is all cool.

This post shows how I did it: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?37825-World-C-A-R-S-Championship-September-2015&p=1128849&viewfull=1#post1128849

Perhaps you can also try to clean-up the browser's cache.

By the way that BMW 320 is a bitch!

I'm not a big fan of this car, I'm struggling a bit to give it a bit more grip and stability.
Anyway, just did a 30 min practice time, could turn a best lap of 1:56.6xx, constant laps between 1:57:0xx, 1:57:4xx.
Let's see if I can squeeze something more out of it.

PS: watch out for the many chicanes you can "cut" during practice in Barcelona. During qualify/race, is not so forgiving! I can see already a festival of cut-track penalties going on here!

Next step: Willow + Mustang. The car I drove in Watkins Glen once, but Willow is totally unknown territory for me!

Just downloaded the dlc and spent an hour tunning. It oversteer a like mad on minute then understeers. My consistent times are 2'00.xxx and my best was a 1'58.9. Lacking so much grip and why doesn't it want to brake? Do all touring cars require more rear brake than front?

That bmw is just eeerrrrrrggggghhhhhh, can't get it to do anything, I'm in a championship in single player with it and it takes ages to get anywhere with it, had it stiffened had it softened n it stills wants to do what it wants, just wants to keep turning after u straighten up.

Mustang n willow think I got something sorted for consistency, providing I hit my braken turn in points :D

I can't practice with DLC cars :-( I don't have any paid DLC. I haven't had any time to practice this month anyhow. I'm unemployed at the moment and don't wish to stay that way so I've been looking hard for work. This week I'll start at a new place and be more settled and I can get in to practising hard for October. I'll also be able to afford DLC :-D I'll still be giving it my best effort for the last round this weekend regardless :-)

Anyone have some times for Sakitto and Nurburgring? :) My best so far is 1:38.535 on Sakitto and 2:10.680 on Nurburgring.

I actually quite like the BMW 320 TC, the way it handles it's as if it was made for a track such as Nurburgring. :) And it's a good car for me because it forces me to be more patient and gradual on the throttle coming out of corners, spmething I need to improve on.

So my friends, last 2 rounds of our Sunday Championship is looming!

Willow - this track is somewhat forgiving in terms of cut-track penalties, but since it's mostly surrounded by sand, watch out your braking. Pushing other drivers in the sand will definitely make them loose time. We have 17 rounds here, you will not win the race at the first corner...

Barcelona - here in the other hand, you have several corners which will give you a penalty if you cut, so watch out to not cut yourself or push someone into it. If you can't avoid it, hit the brakes so you don't win time.

Good Luck everyone, let us have 2 competitive and fun racing events!

Hey everyone.
I wont be organizing Monday races in October. Very frustrated with the game and some 'participants'.
Sunday races will be the only thing l'm going to do and l will be asking the drivers l think are the most reliable if they want to join.

I'm sorry if l let some of you down, but l slowly lose the fun in doing this when people dont show up for the races, leave during them, park their car on the grass or rather do other things.
So, only Sunday races for me from October on - and only really if enough people are in and are actually there on raceday.

I'm sorry, but l hope you understand.

Really hated both cars and both tracks. I'm absolutely thrilled I bought the dlc to race tonight and tomorrow.

Race reviews: Race 1 - had a battle with some for about 2 corners. Then watched my tires melt while I circulated around and around like Will Stevens in an F1 race.

Race 2 - a constant battle to keep the car facing forward. Got up to 4th maybe 5th on the first lap as many crashed on the first lap. Then all because the car couldn't drive over kerbs or accelerate, or brake....or steer. I just made mistake after mistake and had a good one and half lap battle with Deisel. But that ended when I got out of shape, when I regained shape in the middle sector, I got a cut track. Fell back to 8th, bumped someone off the track, either davan or delta, let them through then I was playing catch up until I spun again.

Really irritated, can't wait to drive the BMW again tomorrow.... Why can the cars not have a decent base tune. Why do that have to be tug boats to manoeuvre around? Congrats the winners.

Sorry to hear this Pink, I can fully understand your reasons for this decision though, you've done a fantastic job on setting this thing up and running it. I'd never done this sort of league racing 'thing' before I joined here, but I can honestly say I've loved racing here for the last 3 months as it's well organized, everyone involved has been great to race against and it's also a great place to test myself, and made the online experience much more enjoyable as a whole! :D

So I just want to say thank you Pink for doing this and everyone else for the great racing, I'll be in for these Sunday races, hopefully we can get enough people to join in as it would be a shame to see this fantastic group disband! :(

1. big congratulations to LinnyEK, the man of the hour! During practice I thought I had a chance, but your lap times today were simply out of this world... Wow, 38 points.

2. @Pink: pity you missed the 1st race . If my math is correct, that would put Diesel as the champion, followed by Linny. That championship was yours...

--

My short race report:

1. Race
Qualified P3, had a decent start, but it simply took me half the race to finally get to pace.
Anyway, at some point I touched a kerb and there was I watching a bunch of cars pass by. Big sorry to L_Heron, you were just behind me when I span and I think we both went out. If wasn't you, sorry to whoever it was...
Anyway, the pace finally came and I started to recover, was in P6 in a strong pursue behind Diesel, and got the P5 probably by half a car! Nice battle!

2. Race
Qualified P2, and had a real bad start... Suddenly saw cars passing by, one crashed on my side. I don't remember which position I landed, but started to come back, pace was there (unless to fight Linny, was just not possible). P2 is the best I could take!

Overall P4 in the championship is way more that I expected in my rookie season anyway!
And from my side, I liked both car/track selection.

Results tomorrow...

Sorry to hear that Pink. :( I'm gonna miss the Monday races. :( Your frustration is well placed though. And if you're not enjoying hosting Monday and Sunday both then cutting it down is the only right decision. You're still the best racing hostess I've ever seen, and the championship will still be great, nothing changes there. ;) Thank you for all the great work!

Great racing everyone, and congratulations to Linny, wow you were so fast! :) More detailed writeup coming later. :)

These two races were difficult ones! in Willow Springs I started in 5th place. I had a little bump in start and first curve. Gone to 8th place. I made some consistent laps and catched Delta. He not gave up. Both of us approached Diesel. Delta passed Diesel and gone. I had a great battle with Diesel. He had just one mistake and I made the pass. I ended in 4th. By the way, I´m sorry Diesel about that bump, we´re too close. My mistake man.
In Barcelona I committed a great mistake. I made a great start but, to not bump the black Beemer ahead of me, I pulled my car to the grass, it lost the grip and pulled back to the track, hitting the black Beemer and others. And for this, I have to be punished. I started in 5th and, after that, i was in 10th. I made some consistent laps and was able to get in 5th. Mantu was in 4th. And made that race a great one for me. We battled for 4 or 5 laps i guess. But, in the end, Mantu was the winner, GREAT, GREAT RACE MAN!!!!

What was worth mentioning, even though l had a "mostly" lonely race:
Linny made a nice move on me, dont know how he was so fast.
Same goes for Malt, had a short, but great battle with him through 2 corners, but l had to give in eventually.
Also had 2 or 3 position exchanges with Mantu, lots of fun.

All of you 3 were very fair and clean, thanks :)

Race Review! :) (I was a bit rusty this week, blame FIFA 16 for that! ;))

Willow Springs: Qualified P5. Got a good start and moved up to P3 behind Malt and in front of Delta. Couldn't pass Malt as his car was f**king quick on the straights, so waited for a possible mistake, which I got after he ran wide at the last corner and I managed to just get past into T1 to go P2. Malt fell back and Linnuke took up the challenge, I kept him at bay for a few laps, but I had to relent eventually and he raced off. My front left was gone by Lap 9, so I really struggled in the right hand corners. This allowed Delta/Grijo to close up and challenge me for a couple of laps each, I put up as much fight as I could to stop them passing me, but I couldn't hold them off and they both got through with good moves, and I fell to P5. On the last lap, Malt had caught back up and was all over my back bumper, exiting the last corner I thought I had done enough, but his superior speed just got him past, so I finished P6, enjoyable race despite falling back!

Catalunya: Qualified P4 this time. Got a good start, but was passed by Mantu/Russian into T1, so I was P6. I got back past Russian initially, but he maybe outbraked himself into T4 and we collided, an unfortunate racing incident. I rejoined P8 behind QPR and attempted to pass into the second chicane and had the move done, both drivers fair, but slight contact was made and we stuck together, forcing us both off, me down to P10. I started to work my way back through the field, I had a good battle with QPR for 2 laps for P7, he defended really well and I had to really fight past him! I set about closing the gap to Russian, and I caught and passed him after a mistake by him, only for me to lose it half a lap later, all the work to do again! I managed to catch back up to him again and pulled the move off to gain P6, with no chance of catching Mantu/Grijo, so after a entertaining race, P6 is where I finished.

Congrats to Linny on the wins (you were unbelievably quick today!) and everyone else for the great racing ;).

Time for my race synopsis. :) First race I had for my standards a very good qualy session and was 2nd on the grid to start the race, first time I've ever started on the front row in this championship to date. :) Unfortunately I got off to a slow start and dropped to 4th on the opening lap and by lap three, after a nice four way battle, I had dropped to 5th place behind Puremalt I believe it was. :) After a few more laps and a nice fight Puremalt made a mistake on a corner and spun off and on the track and we collided as I was overtaking him. After watching the replay I maybe could've given more room so sorry for that. :( The collision allowed me to jump into 4th position however, with Grijo just behind and Diesel a few seconds in front. By lap 10 or so both Grijo and I had closed in on Diesel, and after an intense three way battle and a slight mistake by Diesel I was able to overtake for third position. Over the last remaining laps I managed to close the gap on Linnuke in front of me but not enough to overtake for 2nd on the final corner. Great race though, and maybe my best performance ever in this championship. :) Thank you to Puremalt Diesel and Grijo for being intense and fair, you made my day awesome. :)

Second race I qualified 7th but on the start I got boxed in the wall on the right and dropped to 11th. I battled up to 6th again on the first lap but missed a braking point on the first corner in lap 2 just slightly and got a cut track penalty as someone was overtaking me, so I dropped to 9th. After some good battles with Ben I eventually passed him and finished in 8th position. :)

Here is a highlight video of my first race, I hope you enjoy. :)

PS: Sorry to both The Russian and Pink that your games crashed. :( So frustrating. :(

Right my review, race 1: Absolutely fuming with game crashed on me even though I only had ps on for 30 mins before race! I wonder if anybody had a screenshot of line after qualifying cos I'm sure I was in p5! Which makes 3 of us in p5 :D.

Race 2: Can't remember qualify spot but was around 7-10, got a good start then it went pear shaped in front of me cars going all over, for once managed to get through without being collected hot on brakes late into 1st corner, was nice n steady and holding my own, as diesel said I gave him a little push into corner and he went off, I waited for him to get back on and we both lost 3-4 places, had another good steady drive keeping out of trouble getting some good lap times in, then started losing getting twitchy making mistakes with around 4 laps left was in p6 at the time. On way down start finish straight was fending off ben bradders got through chicane at end then on right handed got a bump off ben n went off, at first I thought fair enough n he's waiting for me but i was not afforded the same luxury as bens other victims and he sped off into distance, managed to catch n get past him again (as to which I then remembered to set recording going just in case) nothing else happened between us, battled with diesel as he mentioned.

Sorry to diesel for punt, did wait for your return as mentioned, well done to all for some good racing and even more so to winners! Big boo to game waiting till I was in a lobby before crashing. Think I made some really good progress in 2nd race (as a driver) until I got a bit nervous and thinking I was gonna finish in a decent position, I know I definitely had some good overtakes in that race with various people.

Thanks again all, and I look forward to the next championship in October:D

Standings so far... and a few stats...
The numbers at each race are not the points, but the position achieved.

219158

Linny would probably be champion hasn't he missed the 1st race. Only 2 points, 4 victories, 12 bonus points. Comparing to F1 today, he's our Lewis Hamilton!

Unfortunately only a few drivers managed to participate in most events, which is one of the reason why Pink only wants to host it only Sundays. She wants commitment. I understand is not easy.

Based on that I could throw in 2 ideas to try to balance this in the future:

1) extend to more events, for instance, 12 races, and count only the best 8 to 10 races. This would give a chance for some that had a crash or disconnect, or simply could not participate due to a private business (and for those that cannot participate in an event, please post here!)

2) my personal (and probably a few others) is the lack of time to practice. One way I think could help in time need for practice would be to:
a. each race weekend (2 races) will happen in the same track, but different cars - reducing the tracks to learn.
b. we fix a car / car category for the entire championship for one of the races - reducing the car setup / handling issues.

Yes, it only make sense if we have a longer championship, otherwise I agree is a bit boring...
Say we pick GT3 category for the "main car", so we can have it like:

Race 1: GT3 @ Track 1
Race 2: Road @ Track 1
Race 3: GT3 @ Track 2
Race 4: Touring @ Track 2
etc.

No worries, I'm still seething over how bad I was yesterday. I wanted to park up next to Davan after 8 Laps at Barca.

I don't have any DLC and really struggled in the BMW. I was circulating around reasonably well but every time I tried to go that tiny bit quicker, the arse end would just go. I started getting lapped after only 4 laps so I moved out of the way a let the rest of the field through and continued using it as a practice session. On the sixth lap, after a couple of neat laps, I spun on the first corner, as I set off, I clipped the kerb wrong and spun on the second corner and, as if I had oil on my rears, I spun nonchalantly entering the third turn! I was pointing backwards as Linny lapped me for a second time, swiftly followed by the rest of the field. I was just getting in the way at that point so I parked up and set my camera to look down toward the last turn a watched the rest of the race, well, as much as I could from the last turn.

Really disappointed in myself. I found that as hard to drive as the Caterham 7 (or whatever model it is called in PC). Nevertheless, I need proper practice and I will improve next month.

I apologise for the park up and congratulate Linny on two superb wins. You really were in another class.

In practice, in the bmw tc, I found that if u was starting to spin if u braked it spun whatever and it made it a worse spin, if u accelerated by blipping throttle while spinnin, 80% of time u managed to get control again.

I never brake when the wheels spin, I feather the throttle. With zero drive time and no idea where to take the setup, I was doomed from the start. In Australia, a good tradesmen never blames his tools. I was the only tool malfunctioning last night :p

Hey all very sorry for not turning up last night..i will be racing tonight..very strange to also see after 1 bad night it seems pink your giving up on monday for some reason..the championship has been great since you started it and i think its a little weird ur pulling out now out of the blue

We've had 40+ races so far and l can only remember 2 - 3 races where we had a full lobby.
Thats not worth my time, so l decided to drop Mondays and focus on Sundays.
Dont see whats 'strange' about that.

Of course you should show. :) My best times are around 1:39.0 with the Caterham and 2:10.5 with the BMW.

Just a small correction PureMalt to the standings, according to the screenshot you posted Linnuke had the second fastest lap time on Willow Springs, not me. :)

Thx mate, I was definitely still sleeping when I posted this! Ill fix it right away...

Okay but you have to make a "drive thru" every race to make it fair?

But you are too fast for us! :beguiled:
Just joking, you are welcome from my point of view. I might learn one thing or two!!!

Lol, i'm not fast as you thought, Pink and Diesel are quick too
I maybe just spended more time to set the cars, 3h for each

LOL, well I probably spent time tuning the car, but clearly I'm not as good mechanic as you!

BTW, one thing I would like to "propose" for future would be a kind of "Driver Development Program".
Basically, after races leaders can give hints about their used car setups, or post them, explain why they did certain changes, talk about driving lines etc.
Goal being make the not-so-fast drivers slowly get into it.

What do you guys think?

I think if more people can race for like P6 and forward, more they will be motivated to keep going racing here...

I was behind everyone, mate :p I didn't think the tyres would last in that first race so I short filled my fuel expecting everyone to pit at some point. I was catching everyone rather quickly after getting a shady cut-track after going wide at turn 6 but had to come in for fuel with 3 laps to go :(

Well, that is one thing I did not have at all: tire problems.
Maybe I got the right pressure, but was exactly in the last 7 laps I could really push my car. My first 4 laps were terrible, tires felt very cold and gripless...

Another reason I could attribute to that effect would be driving with/without a wheel, as with a wheel is easier to have the right angle, and if the FFB is adjusted properly, you sort of feel when you have a good contact patch or just burning rubber...

I'm looking forward to no TC. I'm wondering (nay, hoping) if the field might come back to me a bit.

Really, really enjoyed driving the Caterham and I was better this time around with the BMW but my suspicions were confirmed this evening, my controller has its throttle gremlins back.

Yesterday I noticed that, in the BMW, I had really good reaction time at the start and take off before anyone else but then the car would just bog down. Tonight at the Nurburgring, I noticed the same thing. During the race, after my first of many spins, I checked my telemetry and found to be running only 70% throttle.

I knew I'd be off the pace a bit but when people are disappearing ahead of me on the straights in equal cars, that's when I can blame my tools. The Caterham suffered the most with the throttle issue. I was losing about one second down the pit straight alone!

I'll get that sorted and be back with a new verve and some extra practice in October.

Great racing with you all. You are all great people and excellent and fair racers. Thank you :)

Evening all, Race Review Time! :)

Sakkito: Qualified P6. Got an OK start and maintained my place. Out of T2, I looked to pass Fastback when an small incident happened in front of us, forcing Pink to swerve in front of us and causing us three to glue together and drop positions. I then got a cut-track penalty at Spoon for running wide, although two cars in front did the same and they got away clean , dropping me further back. I managed to catch back up to Fastback and Davan after the curves, only for us three to run into the back of each other, losing even more time! My recovery drive began from P8, first passing QPR after a mistake by him, then closing down Delta by Lap 7 and passing him at Spoon after he ran slightly wide and I was able to nip up the inside for P6. I then set about catching my teammate Linnuke, who was 8 seconds up the road. I clawed the gap down to 2 seconds by Lap 13, when he made a mistake at 130R and I was able to catch and pass him down the home straight, P5. BVB was 3 seconds in front by this time, so my aim was to catch him now. By the last lap, I had got the gap down to 1 second and really closing, entering 130R, he made a slight mistake which gave me a great run at him, but he had just enough momentum to hold me off at the finish, a really fun race, P5 a good result. :D

Nurburgring: Was looking forward to the final race, I think I would have qualified P6 and been quite competitive in the race, but unfortunately with 3 mins to go in Qualy, my internet decided to pack up, leaving me with no chance of joining back and missing out on all the fun and games!

Congrats on Pink and Fastback on the wins, plus Zunge and Fastback on winning the Drivers/Team Championships this month :) Thanks for all the good racing tonight everyone, good luck to all of you next month! ;)

P.S: Nice work on the website Pink, it's looking really good, can't wait to see how it progresses in the coming months! :D

The group suffered so many crashes after Patch 4.0, its laughable.

Yeah, not liking the the game crashing the hardware, can't be good for the life of the system. I haven't had that issue yet but seeing so many in our small group in such a short time since the last update has got me very nervous.

Well, its time!

Had a decent quali for the Sakitto race, but didnt feel competitive to fight for the very first position.
l was off to a great start, experienced very clean first 2 corners, but at the exit of T2 someone went wide, suddenly came back, forcing me to make a sudden evasive move as well and there l went - pushing Fastback (and apparently Diesel with me). No one to blame really, those things can happen during the start phase, but fortunately happen very rarely in our championship.
After that l had some nice battles with multiple people. Delta gave me a little fight, but ran wide in T1, giving me enough space to slip through the inside - two great races from you :)
l saw the 10 second gap to SuperBVB and another dot (turned out to be Linnuke).
Took me about 4 - 5 laps to catch them and witness their battle. Didnt want to interfere at first, but they ran a very "interesting" line at Spoon Corner, making me wonder if l could pass them there. 2 laps later l made a move on them in said corner and got both at once :D (it happened a lot in both races, so l will be uploading a video tomorrow.)
8 or 9 laps were still to go, but Drushan and Zunge were about 15 seconds ahead of me and l had already accepted P3 but still pushing hard, because the track, the car and the whole atmosphere motivated me a lot. :)

3 laps to go and l noticed that they lose a lot of time, l think l was about 8 - 9 seconds still behind. One lap later it was only 5 seconds and l already thought that they must be fighting to the bones.
Had a little incident with Ben during lapping, but no big deal :p
So going into the last lap l was 3 seconds behind Drushan in 2nd, l felt something would happen in the last lap, and really, it did! l saw both of them having an incident under the bridge, Drushan waited for Zunge, which let me get the 1st place and a lucky win.
l'm so gonna watch that replay :D

Dammit, that was a long text, and l'm only halfway through :p

In the quali for Race 2 l just couldnt set a time. Either l had to let others pass, or l spun in T3 :culpability:
At the end of the quali l made quick changes to the ride height and didnt know at all if they would work.
l started from P10 l think? Had a good start, everything went fine from my point of view, until we went down the straight towards the Dunlop Hairpin, where Ben kind of squeezed me off track and into the grass. That was not nice.
l got back on track in P11, had some sweet battles with Bubbs at first. The both of us then caught Linnuke - he gave me a good fight, lots of fun, but eventually l could pass him.
Same with Mantu, Delta and BVB, very intense and fair battles, thanks people! :)
l was happy with P4 in the end, had no chance of catching the first 3, as they were about 12 seconds ahead.

Congrats to Fast on his first win, it was about time :)
Looking forward to October and the Sunday races. l think our championship deserves more than 10 drivers per race and l hope that can be achieved next month.

Now, sorry for the epic and have a good night! :)

Great racing today everyone, I really had a great time and you all raced very fairly and competitively. :)

In the first race my pace was really lacking. I qualified 10th and was able to move up to 7th over the opening laps but my pace was too slow and I fell back a few places and ultimately finished 8th. A bit disappointed there, but the racing was great.

The second race I had an okay qualy, barring a few spinouts, and started 6th on the grid which was nice. I got off to a pretty good start and was able to move up to 3rd over the opening laps, but eventually due to a slower pace I fell to 5th where I finished. I'm really happy with how consistent and focused I was the entire race, I made very few mistakes the whole race or I would have surely finished in a worse position.

Congratulations to Pink and Fastback for your wins today, and to Fastback and Zunge for winning the Team Championship, and to Zunge for winning the Drivers Championship! :) Well done. :) September was another great month I must say, with more drama and intensity than ever. :) Only thing missing was more drivers for each event, but I am sure next month with all of the improvements and changes participation will be better than ever. :) Also, just wanted to say, I noticed after looking at the overall driver standings from month to month here and on the website that I've managed to improve my point totals each successive month. I hope that can continue. :)

Turns out I was your best friend tonight!! Haha seriously though, don't really know what I was trying to do a sakitto and at the Nurb I saw you behind me at the corner, focuses on straightening up then when I looked again I couldn't see you, pressed my rear view and moved my stick and then saw a flash of yellow disappear, wasn't to sure on who it was and whether it was completely my fault but when you caught back up I let you and mantu through. Sorry ma'am, it won't happen again. I've worked on some highlights so I will try and post them sometime.

Mixed Races tonight. The first was awful, for some reason I thought doing 10 laps consistently in the 1.39-1.40 would be a quick pace but I was wrong, turns out I was a lot slower and made too many mistakes so to keep amused I had battles with Davan. Then I just circulated around until I got in Pinks way. Poor from me

Nurburgring was very fun for me, I was mid pack (about 6th on the grid) and got off to a steady start. Completely didn't see Pink (unfortunately again) and caused another incident. Slight hiccup in what was my best race so far. Had an epic battle with mantu until he sadly spun and nursed the car home with 0.3L left in the tank. Would liked to have tried to catch BVB but I just wanted to finish. Congrats to the winners.

Videos of Barcelona (yesterday) and Nurburgring (today) are both on YouTube.

Barcelona - https://youtu.be/lZ3KkMgYHVo

Nurburgring - http://youtu.be/pa81WzRBZuo

Not bad for first ever edits. These are just MY race Highlights featuring my "altercations" with The Russian and my battle with Diesel (both at Barcelona) and Mantu (Nurburgring).

As 'guest driver' I must say I throughly enjoyed Nurburgring. Thought best to keep myself out of the way in quali so started last (with the wrong gear ratios). Apologies again to Zunge - I tried to let him by at the last chicane on his hot lap but I wasn't braking hard enough / was too busy wondering how he was so fast and we crashed :(

I was in the blue car in Ben's YouTube video - watching him and Mantu for lap after lap was great fun, as was occasionally getting in amongst them too. Racing Pink was fun at the start too, although she is FAST.

I did get ahead of Ben and Mantu but my 'lead' lasted two corners before I ran out of talent and dropped it in turn 2. :)

Good fun though, thanks for having me (and thanks for the invite Pink).

Sakkito.
I completely messed up the start. Then 3 accidents. That was it. Race gone.:moody:

Nürburgring
Yes Man what a setup. :victorious: I could not believe to be so far ahead.
But again I have not survived the first few corners. And again from the back. Have I not the luckiest one? I could then go on until the 2nd place. Superfight DruShan. More did not go. My team partner then has left me over yet. Thanks Z
I hope it will get better soon.

Thanks for the congratulations.

Hi Pink! Tried to PM you but forum says ur inbox is full! 100 messages is a joke...

Since your website is so nice, it deserves also better graphics!

Here you have two new images for both September's Sunday and Monday championships.
I adapted the color scheme to something closer to the site, and with points instead of position, I think is easier for people to understand...
The only thing is: my numbers don't match yours 100%, maybe I did something wrong assigning the points. If you spot a mistake, drop me a note and I will fix it...

Of course, feedback welcome!
