Hello, i've found some bugs in the old vs new DLC:

BMW 2002 Turbo: Mirrored Logo on the front. It's with every livery that has the "2002 Turbo" or only the "turbo" lettering. NOT A BUG!

BMW 320 TC: Small black triangles on the shift lights (Left and right, see pic)

The mirrored logo seems to be factory design.

Both BMW 2002 Turbo and 1966 Mustang is in the wrong category in car selection as well, they can be found in "Road" category instead of "Touring"

1966 Mustang seem to be missing its racing livery too.

The lettering on the 2002 Turbo really is supposed to be mirrored.

But the 320 tc has another "bug" - it's top speed is shown with 607 kph. A tad too optimistic. But no biggie.

Also on the Fastback 2+2 it says 220-something kph top speed, but the car has no issues easily going over 245 kph.

Hi,
Maybe another bug...
Does anybody think that RUF CTR brakes heat too quickly, more than 720 Celsius at Oulton Fosters in 3 laps, and of course become less effective ?

Whenever a 2002 turbo will appear in your rear mirror you will know why the logo was mirrored by BMW.

All DLC cars that I tested this week are missing their "seat adjust" limits. You can raise the seat thru the roof, or back thru the driver's head.

More than 750 at Donington after 1 lap with 95% brake pressure setting.
More than 650 after 1 lap with 85% pressure.

Some gauge needles on BMW2002 are flickering through the texture.

Would appreciate if this bug will be fixed in the next patch.

I believe there is a brake bug loss of brakes brake fading. I very much notice this on the Yellowbird where after 1 lap I have next to no brakes and the other cars in the DLC pack the brakes seem weak on the 2nd lap. Simraceway had a similar problem that took them quite some time to pinpoint and fix. Anyway on the 1st lap on the yellowbird the brakes lock very easily to next to nothing a lap later.

Fun fact, they wanted the letters mirrored on 2002. Because when it comes up on you, you will be able to read it and know what's behind you (and catching you)

bug: 1966 Mustang is pulling slightly to the right side.

I was wondering about that as i have my g29 pointed to the left to keep it in a straight line, thought it was a wheel issue

In my opinion its the other way around.

It should show up as Road D, because they can do comparable times with the Caterham 7 Classic, yet are both way too slow for Hist. Tourung B.

I rather see have both classic cars in Historic touring than Road D as both cars further expands the touring cars roster. Road already had plenty of cars and touring car is the class with the least cars in it. Also, both cars has some form of racing version in the past. Why you want to reduce the amount of cars in touring cars?

Especially when the game has so little touring cars when other classes has a lot more cars than it. Touring cars in the 60s are not fully race prepped as modern cars or it is perfectly balanced where there used to be Mini Cooper racing side by side with Shelby Mustangs. It is true that Pcars did not license the exact racing version especially for the mustang but it doesn't mean it should go with the caterham as even the physics is designed to be more of a race car than road cars.

I highly doubt Caterham is comparable with those 2 because it is a track day super light that will outrun both of them. Both cars are made with 1960s technology to begin with. They are quite competitive with both 300SEL and Escort but 2002 is a little slower than the rest. If both cars are underpowered, they should be tweaked to fit Historic B.

The game classed both cars as Historic B in the races under same class setting. It is only the UI has mistakenly classed it as Road cars.

Because it would make an unbalanced class, that is why.

Both the BMW and the Mustang can achieve times similar to the Caterham 7 Classic (wihin 1 sec),
but are 4-5 sec (at least), then the Merc. and the Escort, on all tracks I tested them.

That would make, 4 cars in the category, that are not competitive with each other, and would make players (who want to try the Mustang or BMW), disappointed.

IF they would tweak the cars (an a lot others) to be competitive against each other, then its fine with me.

Well what you say makes example that different people are seeing problems with different things. For me the Yellowbird is un-drivable and there may be a bug. However the Fastback Mustang IMO is the best car in the pack and physics wise reminds me of Bathurst Legends Mod for rF1

The Mustang seem to have the same bug as the Escort.

Not everything in the game has to achieve perfect balance. Touring cars in the 60s arent designed to be perfectly balanced with each other if not there wont be a Mini Cooper with 100+ bhp racing with a 300bhp+ Shelby Mustang.

I had done quite a few races with Historic B. Mustang is doing much better than both Escorts and 2002 on tracks with long straights. There is also a chance that you could not handle some cars as well as the others as I am far slower in a M3 GT and Ruf GT3 than a R8 GT3 or Vantage GT3. Does that means M3 GT and Ruf GT3 needs to be buffed further because I am awful with it? I havent seen anyone else complaining about car balances.

I dont know why are you so obsessed with competitive car balances on classes, this isnt Starcraft or Dota. GT3, LMP or Group A needs to be balanced to a certain point but road cars or even old Historic Bs, sometimes, a bit of imbalance made them more fun to play.

The Mustang seem to have the same bug as the Escort.

That bug with Mustang and Escort needs to be fixed. It is difficult to play Mustang now due to that bug.

Just for the record, the collision mesh is way out on the PC too, in case anyone thought this was only affecting consoles. It's a fun car for timetrialing, but can't be used in any races. :-(
