217085 a clutch mod I made for my 3tpa pros with a spring and a bracket that I attached to bottom of pedal! really cheap and works great! The spring actually sends a sensation through the whole pedal set with the vibration of the subwoofer that you can feel the Rev of the motor in the gas and clutch! 217087This the rubber band mod to my Th8a thrustmaster shifter! Really give the shifter that spring! Just slap it into gear! Theleft to right motion is a lot better! It was too loose stock!

It does have adjustment screw for tension. I don't remember the "left to right" motion being tight when you tighten the screw. So, I guess that's why he did the rubber band mod.

It does but only for going into and out of gears. The only way to adjust the left and right motion is with this rubberband mod! Made the shifting motion alot more realistic.

Made a tactile transducer (bass shaker) out of a old Sony sub that had a blown internal amp. Bolted it straight to the bottom of seat. Rattle your teeth!

I definitely would like some more tension to the gas pedal on the T3PA pedals set. Anyone done anything to adjust their's?

Don't see why you couldn't do the same thing to your gas pedal so long as you measure your range of motion correctly.

That works, I've done that to my brake already. In some of those struts, you can also change the oil viscosity to affect the speed at which those dampers move.

Also extra resistance in the T3PA-Pros clutch and gas using foam.. springs would be better, but this works fine.

Really digging that short shift. Do you have a link to share for the DIY parts or did you fabricate that yourself?

Did myself check the blog in my signature.

Edit to correct myself it is basic build from easily found items. I did not fabricate any of it. Only a little drilling to make the hole in the plastic adapter that came with the shift knob larger.

$12 shift knob from amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NFF2N5C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00
$5 for a m6-1.0 x 100mm bolt and a few m6 nuts from the hardware store.

Got the ideas from yipzone and sethfrancis. .. Links to their stuff is also in the blog post.

This is one of my most favorite threads. I love to see innovation at its best. Yeah sure if you have $$$ you can have the best cockpit money can buy, but to me its so much cooler to build-it yourself.. like you'd build your own race car. My rig is made out of scrap wood, but I used sort-of a RicmoTech design.

I'm still constantly trying to improve this. I image when I sell my POS Thrustmaster, I'll change it up for the Logitech G920, and add a shifter since it comes with three pedals.

Nice setup, battfink!
What FOV are you racing with in cockpit view??

I'm racing with FOV at 67 in cockpit view on my 55" LED TV and my wheel base is 40 cm. from the TV screen.
It looks and feels so much more real with the "right" FOV.

So what are your FOV at when you are this close?? ;)
