Little orange light that comes on at high revs sometimes. (Only seen it in one race) It is located on the tachometer between around 3 & 4 thousand revs.
My guess is that it was engine related, but could it be indicating any kind of failure.
It's being consistent at high revs makes me think it was an engine warning of some kind?
Are the two gauges right and left of any use? Are they temps?

Probably a shift light telling you it's time to shift gears or risk a blown engine.

No. It's not always there. Can over rev and never see it. It's situational or based of engine temps or the gear box I think.
Pretty sure it was a warning light of some kind.

The tach on that car says 8k. But redline stops 2-4 hundred before that. No shift light.
The orange light was also kind of fading in and out as revs increased. Confident it's not a shift indicator. Was specific to certain gears and spots on track.
