Hello,

Yesterday i bought Project Cars. It works fine on my PC, but in every Race it freezes 1 or 2 times for around 3 seconds.
The sound of the game continues while its freezing. I really don't know whats happening there.
The temperature of my PC components is okay, so that is not the problem.
My Windows 7 is completely new, so that can also not be the problem.
Did anyone else expirience this problem?

My PC: Gtx 970, i7 4770k, 8Gb DDR3 Ram, 500 GB HDD + 3TB HDD from Western Digital, Windows 7 64 bit.

Do you have your CPU overclocked?

You need to post up what graphic settings you are using, if you are all ultra with grass enable you are probably pushing the GPU too far.

Yes, im playing on maxed out settings, but the game runs smooth at at least 50 Fps. i will try it at low settings.

Turn off detailed grass and try MSAA.

I tried it a the lowest Settings, and it still freezes. I turned everything to low or off. it looks like that just the cars stop, because particles and the background are still moving while it freezes.

Something is causing your system to get bottlenecked regularly. Since you have a pretty powerful PC, I'm inclined to think it's some background process or program that interferes. Or maybe it's related to your controller. What controller do you use?

Also, do you have USB power saving disabled in Windows?

I use my regular Keyboard to play Project Cars. My Windows 7 is completely fresh. I only run Project Cars and Steam on it because i installed it yesterday. No i have not disabled that, where can i do that?
