I was wondering when the last patch offered the two selectable defaults to choose from, why they also didn't include community settings as per the title of this post? It would appear to be a great solution for users with limited time and mounting frustrations.

There was an attempt to get "community settings" during development. No one could agree on anything. Ian has mentioned they are looking at providing 2-3 presets per supported wheel. One of them may be Jack's settings. There is no timeline on when that may happen.

That's not correct....we agreed that we didn't agree on anything :)

what is or was the reason for not having "full control" of the above mentioned? PS4 and PC same? not sure about PC, since game only made it my console, but curious why full control is not given to player?

There should have been 3 defaults, with no options including 30+ FFB sliders. There should have been light, medium & heavy. Of course, each wheel would have needed their own default presets.

I guess thats one problem with crowd funding & community involvement.... too many spoons in the soup.

I agree that we could agree that it was the mods which could not agree if the devs agreed or not on putting these settings in game :p
