I would like to know from whom uses the manual gearbox with the controller which assignment of buttons has set up.
Default or other?

Thank you

I use manual and tis wicked. I use b for upshift and x for downshift (no clutch). The same as fm6 basically so also helps swapping between the two and not getting confused.

I am still slower with manual gears but it's now getting close!

I use A for upshift and X for down. The default setup is awful with the shoulder buttons.

I'm now on a wheel but Manual gears are much faster, on the controller I use to use X - Up and B - Down. As above, to start you will be slower but once you get use to it and it will pay off. Start on an easy track, silverstone inter is a good and easy track to learn pal

I have ugraded to a wheel but prior to that with the pad my buttons were allocated as shown

A = Kers
B = Drs
X = Downshift
Y = Upshift

With the gears set on those buttons you will note that your thumb rests naturally over your shift buttons and your thumb requires minimal movement when shifting up or down.

I will try your setup in Imola (that I know well) with Formula Gulf (easy to drive).

I use A for upshift and B for down, feels natural for me (lefty).

I use the right thumbstick.
Down for an upshift and up for a downshift.
Great for quick-shifting in the braking zones.

It might be a good idea.

I use the right thumbstick too like plato99. With this setting I use auto clutch
But for older cars I use b fur upshift x for downshift and y for clutch. Thats make it easier when you shift down and give zwischengas (sorry I don't know the english word for). I mean that I accelerate while downshifting that the rear doesn't blocks.

I realized, in Italian is called "doppietta", what you do with the gearbox not synchronized.

X = Up
A = Down
This way I can just rock back and forth with the knuckle of my thumb without having to move it left or right for lightening fast and easy gear changes.
