Well im out, my wheel finally gave up and froze the game at the same time while I was trying to best my 1:11.892 that I hadnt backed out to record to the leaderboard yet.

Good luck to all the top guys, dont think I can get the wheel apart, and pcb swaped, flashed etc etc before the event ends.

Cheers

Were at low 1:12.xxx on consoles.

I dont share setups, I spend to much time testing to just give them away.

DRS on all the time during the last 2 corners ? Arg, didn't know this was possible, i always crashed trying that with minimal wheel movement. Higher downforce than 7/6 i guess then?

I have to lift a bit at 130R even without drs, but i have low df and hit 350 on starting straight

Edit: i want to thank Jack Van hees for his setups but the one for sakitto isn't good (atleast for me) just managed to get 1.19.5 (0.7s faster than my record) by significantly increasing front and rear df...probably having "free drs" everywhere you want allows a more higher df setup without loosing too much on straights.

Nice, why is your screen going in out in out at full speed with no gear change on the straights?

Feel like a minion in here but just wanted to congratulate all you guys on those laps. Was able to keep up with a few of you up until the start of the 130R straight then you guys just find another gear and take off . Mind numbing fast.

Incredible lap time, Atho! I haven't touched Sakitto GP yet with the FA car but I'll see where I'll end up once I start with it. Hopefully atleast under the one second mark from your lap time.
Quick question though, I assume your setup is hotlap only, right? Brake duct and radiator fully closed?

Hello factory pilot, I'm interested to know, what wheel is it that you use? How long did that wheel last before it broke? I find the prices of racing wheels high, and if I was to invest in one, I would obviously like it to last a while.

Well it was a Fanatec gt2 one of 2 I have. One has become a spare parts wheel, and the other I have repaired twice now, and im fortunate enough to have aquired a bunch of other internal parts for it. And dont even get me started if your a Fanatec fan lets just not go down that road at all.

Im currently on hold right now for a new wheel, as Im waiting to hear back on a couple sponsorships, which you would figure by now id be getting stuff to test and wear out all the time haha lol.

I also have used the Thrustmaster t500 with the F1 rim and had to replace buttons on that rim a couple times then sold the t500 and rim to a friend, and have owned the TX which I still have but is useless for PS4 and sits in a box currently, and had no issues with it.

I tried a Logitech G29 but the FFB was weak, which could be the game but I never got it to be strongger, and feel quite right, and the wheel is too small for my liking. I prefer wheels in the 11.75 in and up range for size.

I would say look into the new Thrustmaster Ferrari 599xx integral combo thats coming out pretty soon this month, should be a solid wheel hopefully I will get to test one out and give some feedback on it.

Hopefully I dont get in trouble but here is a link to the wheel im talking about, and no I dont work for Thrustmaster, and you can read about it, i think this wheel will be a good choice in my OP
