Hi all

I'm new to this forum joined today since I just bought Project cars and love it upto now.

I just would like some help in trying to find out what the best settings are for the game on my PC. of at the moment I think I have everything on max but its somethings like:texture filtering and Anti-Aliasing settings id like help with I think ihave everything on max
I know I think its the rsolution I have that on the max with 144mhz

my system is as follows:

asus sabretooth z77 motherboard
intel I5 3570k CPU - overclockered to about 4ghz
corsair vengeance pro DDR3 1GB
asus r9 290
asus VG248QE 144mhz monitor
windows 10

thank you hope somebody can help, must say the game looks amazing but if anybody help can help me make it look even better then that's good.

one quick question isit best for me to change the settings just in the actual game itself or should I use the AMD command centre to change any settings

Is that a typo (1GB)

It has to be, memory is cheap and 1gb wouldn't match the rest of his system. I think he meant 16gb.

I have the same GFX card mate and i have everything on Ultra, i turn off grass, blur, heat haze, bloom, extended mirror, set AA to MSAA or DX2, texture @16X, VSR reoluti8on @ 2540X1440 (From memory), use Chroma and its fine @ AVG 90FPS.
See how that goes mate

hi everyone yes sorry that was a typo I meant 16GB

yesi have everything max as far as I'm aware
just didn't know what to set the AA to and texture

my resolution is what it defaulted as when I installed the game so I'm guessing that's the best

what is chroma? never heard of it

should I be changing any settings in AMD control centre for this game or just leave the game to sort graphics out

Chroma is in visuals, its the sun glare, you can either have it to full but i choose chrome.
Also i dont change anything in CCC, i use MSI afterburner to do small overclocks and set a custom fan profile because these AMD cards get really hot.

mate what size screen you have would be my first question, i only say that because you should leverage the use of VSR to create a higher resolution, that way you wont need as much AA at all and MSAA or highis more than enough on 2560X1440.

Try AA on DS2X with FXAA on LOW.

I found FXAA was ok but i set SMAA to ultra because it gave me a smoother feel and yeh for the sweet spot AA was set to DX2.
