Welcome to the Slipstream Racing's first season of multiplayer Project Cars Racing on Xbox One

Formula Gulf 1000 championship

Championship Points as follows

1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th
25 18 15 12 10 8 6 4 2 1

Points awarded per round. On a night there are 2 rounds, points will be awarded per race. On a night there is one longer endurance race only, double points will be awarded for that race.

If you miss a race round or weekend, you will be replaced by an AI racer and get the points the AI gets on your behalf.

Fuel tank limit will be 10l only at all times. This may require pitting for fuel during shorter races, not just for longer races. Set your pit strategy to fill back up to the 10l maximum tank limit, no more. You can top up with less fuel if you require less.

1st session starts at 7:30pm Sunday Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (8:30am UTC Sunday), room will be opened at 7:25pm

Please pick your car number beforehand, upon entering the room, check you have the correct number on your car. Races may be recorded and uploaded to youtube.

Unless it was fixed u may want to remove the warm up and add a practice before qual. After qualifying you lose your grid order if u do a warmup.

Has been fine so far, including p4.0. The idea of a warm up is to reset car setup from qualifying to race trim, fine tune, grab a drink or visit the loo before the race sets in

Then what do you do a formation lap? Like I said pretty sure warmup screws up the grid order for the race unless u stop before the end and have emery one get back in grid order in warmup. What time would this be est?

The warm up doesn't screw up the qualifying positions, considering we've run over a dozen races through patches 2.0, 3.0 and now 4.0, and I haven't seen this error at all.

Our races are set for Australian Eastern Summer Time, which is currently UTC(GMT)+11hrs, so 7:30pm Sunday is 8:30am UTC Sunday.

Looks like round 2 at Catalunya is going to a good racing circuit for the FG1000, a bit similar to Dubai International in terms of setup, and probably better for racing than at last weeks Brands hatch GP circuit.

Look for high speeds in the 230kph on the main straight and 1:45's for lap times when setting up your car.
