What is the simplest answer to easy allocation of all the options to a button for access in game?.........is something commercially available and how does it connect to the console?.........

I bought a cheap Bluetooth keyboard and assigned keys on that.

Obviously just connects to the PS4 via Bluetooth.

What are my options if I'm already using one usb for the wheel, and the second for the transmitter that sends the signal to my headphones/mic?...........I assume that means I'm out of usb options?......

This is another good thread.
http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?31840-SEE-PATCH-2-0-Playstation-4-button-box

I use a mini usb hub. Wheel plugs into 1 usb on the ps4 and the hub into the other, and that powers the button box and controller charger..

Can two devices (headset and wheel) work through one usb then?.......won't the signals be confused?

Forgive me if that's a f.s.q.!

On PC there is no problem... except for power and same should apply to consoles (USB is USB).

Leave the wheel on its own usb port to avoid disconnects.

So, just to be certain before I purchase things........my headset transmitter and a button box will run together through one USB port on the ps4?

I have my wheel connected directly to ps4 then usb hub connected to the other slot with a keyboard , headset , usb stick for saving data and controller charger all at once .
And it's not a powered usb hub .

My problem is the amount of devices needed and the lack of USB ports on the PS4. I think only 2 USB ports for the actual generation of hardware/consoles is a really stupid decision. Should have 4, if not all in front, at least some on the backside.

I have my T300 directly to the PS4 first USB port. A TH8A shifter in sequential mode plugged to de DIN port on the base of the T300 (great to have the option for 2 simultaneous shifters). And the other TH8A in H mode to the second port of the console. I want to make a button box, but no more USB ports on the PS4. Having a bluetooth keyboard too, but disconects every 15 minutes if you don't touch any key for that time, and have to wait 3 seconds after touch a key to be responsive. Is useless for Project Cars. All bluetooth keyboards I found have the same stupid function and no one have the option to disable it.

Im looking to use a USB hub but there are some things I'm not sure:

Thrustmaster says they don't recommend to plug the TH8A shifter through a USB hub.

And I don't know if connecting the TH8A and the button box/keyboard on the same USB hub (self powered) will give any problems with the shifter regarding the recommendations of Thrustmaster.

I know not all the people have 2 shifters, but I think a lot of them/you have it plugged to the PS4 in H mode.

Anyone having the same issue?

Thank you for the info. Is the USB hub self powered, or is connected only on the PS4 USB port?

Then your TH8A shifter it is plugged to the keypad like it sees in the bottom pic? Is the shifter running without issues?

Thanks for showing the pics.

The shifter plugs into the wheel directly the keypad and the wheel plug into the PlayStation. In the last pic I have dongle for my wireless 7.1 headset and the other cable to my dualshock pad charging it, the shifter works spot on223960

I see. Thank you. I have two shifters, one in sequential mode plugged to the wheelbase, and the other in H mode directly to PS4. I remember to have read on Thrustmaster, if I'm not mystaken, that the DIN connection on the wheelbase is only for sequential mode on the TH8A. And if you put the shifter on H mode, the only option is to connect it to the console. It says this on the manual of the TH8A, I think. I don't know or remember the reason, but maybe due to issues? Maybe because the wheel have paddle shifters and this a sequential mode too?

I'm a little surprised-confused now. There are more people using TH8A's in H mode plugged to the wheelbase?

On the images below you can see an independent module with the TH8A in H mode and a hanbrake. This shifter is connected to the PS4 alongside the T300. And on the right of the wheel, I have the TH8A in seq mode plugged to the Wheel.
