Hey Guys,

Got the idea to do this from yusupov's thread: beat a pro (bac mono @ oulton park) (http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?43563-beat-a-pro-(bac-mono-oulton-park)) (btw, everyone should give that a go) and stumboling upon this old post "Ode to the 98T" (http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?37292-Ode-to-the-98T&highlight=senna%2C+brands+hatch).

1986 Brands Hatch GP Senna Q2 Lap

For the most part fastest lap times in game are close to faster then the real world counter parts; dk if this is the best example as the FA is a SMS car but fastest lap at spa in rl is a 1.47.2 by Vettel and we have guys running 1.41's. Ahhh thats a different discussion..anyway Brands Hatch GP in the 98T is a tough one. PC leaderboard is a 1.08.8 with a large gap to 2nd at a 1.10.7. Dk what the ps4 board looks like but if I remember correctly the xb1 was around a 1.09.

I ran a FP for a while around 12-2pm with light cloud to med cloud, july-august date, no assits, full damage off the top of my head.

Best I can run was a 1.09.3.

10-12 DF, 5.50 wastegate, 1.04 F 1.00 R TP, a few clicks down on the camber, and best boost seems to be 5.50. Anything higher you either cant warm the tires up or you blow the engine. I'll put the exact numbers if anyone actually wants to try this.

Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_British_Grand_Prix)

I know this is probably the main factor but besides the car being an absolute animal with 90%-100% boost wondering why these times are not achievable (Q2) and if anyone else as sat down and driven this combination/have any tips with this car. Have a feeling this combo has been beaten to death but WTH love this car. :)

Tough ask. Challenge accepted :)
A 1:09.3 would've put you in the top 6! Well done.

Brands Hatch 1986 course length somewhere between 3.703 Km and 4.207 Km depending on source!
Brands Hatch 2015 course length 3.908 Km

Graham Hill Bend was reprofiled to make it tighter and Westfield was reprofiled to make it a double apex bend.. Sheene curve is roughly the same as it was (it had a nasty chicane added at one point but was removed at the request of the FIM, as it was bloody dangerous)
No idea why Wikipedia lists the fastest ever race lap as the 1986 Mansell lap.. if the circuit is altered any lap record goes out the window..

Spot the differences - Mansell in 84

May have to change the challenge to Hockenheimring (classic) then?
