Are the marbles I see on track just eye candy?

Do they build up?

Do they affect grip?

Yes they do although the build up is gradual over a weekend. See the thread below.

Edit: Sorry I misread your post. I'm not sure about the marbles being eye candy. The other link was about tracks rubbering in.

This is awesome.

Such a pity we can't save track states like RFactor2. For some reason despite having that feature I just can't get into rF2....no matter how I tweak the settings I just can't seem to make it look blurred / over saturated / like child's crayons / unreal.

I was running a race offline earlier at Brands in the afternoon, with fog....sun shafts piercing the gloom and it was incredible. rF2 after that looks so bland.

every time i see the sun in the tt at the northern loop i fall more in love with this game
