Months ago, I turned my FFB setting to 100. When I did that, the wheel didn't feel right. You could feel the motor grinding in the turns and after a few laps it would disconnect. So I turned the FFB back down to default. Now, my wheel is doing that same thing. And sometimes the wheel starts going back and forth violently. I've reset all the settings. I've turned everything off and on. I've cursed. I've let it sit there for a few days. Most of the issues I've had in the past worked themselves out with me doing nothing different. No matter what I do, it's the same issue.

PS4

Try deleting all your project cars saves then delete game and re-install game. Turn off ps4 then connect your wheel. Turn on ps4 at front of ps4. In settings go for classic and not default as I think default has a higher steering gain setting (100) 75 seems better on the t300.

If your wheel is 'going back and forth violently' during start up then it may need calibration.

Follow the guide here.
