The new Scottish circuit is awesome, too much detail, the cows, the burger vans, the lock, the boats, the twists and turns. Awesome job lads. The new cars are brill, the radbull is undrivable for me at The moment but I'll get there, may have to calm it down first, KTM love it,the new V8 will be blasted round Bathurst in due course, stance works BMW's Great to drive. The sun set casting shadows on the mountain tops as you blast round. Long live project cars and bring on project cars2 I say......take my money with pleasure.:cool::cool:

I must admit I didn't buy the last dlc as it just didn't appeal to me but thought I give this one a go, like you said I was really impressed with the amount of detail in the track. Only had time for a quick blast but looking forward to trying it at different times of the day and possibly some Scottish weather. My only complaint is nothing to do with the dlc but the replays, not sure if anything can be done now but they do spoil an otherwise great game with pop up shadows and wheels etc especially on a track as eye candy as this.

Really impressed with this track, just got in from work, bought the pack and after a quick blast in the MadBull I took the DBR1 round Bannochbrae. Jawdropping. What a perfect combination. The first time through the village centre I just felt like I was in a real place. The track bears no resemblance as far as I can tell to the old Bannochbrae/Misty Loch track, and the main danger is crashing cos you are admiring the scenery.
Really great artwork on this one, I think it's easily the best in the game in terms of the art and design. I have the Oculus Rift CV1 on order, and that plus this track will be just amazing, I really can hardly wait.

I also wonder how this very well priced pack is getting 3 out of 5 stars on Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/334780/

Maybe it's just those that don't like us and will auto vote us down, but it seems odd. At the price, with its faults, I couldn't give this expansion below 85% if I try to be unbiased.

I have lost count of the number of times I've crashed looking up to watch the birds flying in the sky. Or looking over at the mountains. Or staring at the water. Or looking at the detail of the rock walls. I could go on but you get the idea. No track has ever caused me to just stop and admire it as much as this one :o.

Yep, i absolutely love Bannochbrae with everyone else! I had -skipcrowds on at first and could hear the animals/crowds but couldnt see them :)

Its a hoot to race around and I'd be glad to see more fictional tracks from around the world like this.. Let the artists go wild with a track of their own creation now and then!

Circuit is awesome, even better than it was in WMD. I like the new layout much better, it's slightly more simple and works really well. Reminds me of a classic road race (thinking original Watkins Glen street course). Using the Aston or the old Mercedes 300 is absolutely fantastic, great job!

The amount of work required to fix the pop-ups, AI lines etc is not worth it. It would be lovely though, as others have said, to be able to race it in reverse layout.

IMO, the FA is so much easier to drive than that RadBul. You just have to take the first few laps slow and learn then corners. Give it a shot. :)

I tried the Mazda, and quickly realized I'm going to have to work my way up to full power. I turned the Wastegate down to 0, lengthened the gearing a bit, and raised the acceleration slip lock. It still a beast, but easier to settle into that way.

Sum Dixon-Ear
31-01-2016, 15:51
I did the same, got used to it pretty quickly tbh... once it settles out of a corner and you can go full power it's an utter lunatic, fantastic wee thing. Other than my wheel constantly trying to rip my arms from their sockets, the trickles of blood from my eyes and shuffling around like a mad tramp for an hour afterwards, it was bloody great!

John Hargreaves
31-01-2016, 17:09
On minimum power (ahem, a mere 520bhp), that Mazda is a pretty good racing car actually. Just tried a practice at Imola and it went great.

I'm not a fan of fantasy tracks. You can thank Drive Club for that, but this layout is excellent. The grip, curves, the artistic scenery, are all brilliant. I've driven the Mazda and the new Ford briefly around the course and enjoyed the experience. It's an easy track to learn in spite of the fact that it is a long run. I'm actually wasting time talking about it when I could be racing.

Nice job, SMS. If you can pull off a 2000Honda S2000 and maybe an 1967 MGB that would be fantastic.
