Huh?

The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is a Road B class car. What BMW GT3 are you comparing it to? And why/how would you compare a Road B car to a GT3 car?

Maybe he thought the Aston Martin belongs to the GT12 racing class?

I heard GT12 is where they race the Lada subcompacts that have had their motors salvaged for scrap and are pulled by mules :D

The Aston is so much fun to drive , you can throw it into a corner and still control it .
Great fun putting up a smoke screen , so much fun I kinda forget to race it :)

There's are Februarys cars not march

cluck

These are February's cars, not March'sIt matters not a jot they that 'should' have been the cars of February, they were not available to purchase until March so the title is factually correct :).

Did a few laps today with the Caddi. I like it.

Haven't taken it to the ring yet. Was pleasant at Spa and Nur GP though.

yeah Sasquatch (http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/member.php?115126-Sasquatch), i know. But aren't people always looking to nag about something. If he can do better, let him do it him self and don't cry about something small as he did. It's so easy to complain and nag about something without doing it better, you know?
Suppose they don't bring out 4 dlc's, then it would be somewhere in July or something, and then they start to bring out new dlc's again, is that dlc then from march or from July?

Tnx for your reply

It really doesn't matter as Cluck stated before but to be precise:
The cars are from February (came with the patch)purchasable in March
Next ones are from March (came with the patch)purchasable in April
So actually they are the February/March cars
Semantics really and again not really important....

But: say you order a new car late 2015...it is manufactured in December 2015...delivered February 2016... You think you have a car from 2016 when actually the papers state 2015.
You can never sell it as a 2016 car no matter what...

Moot, as we will never be able to sell these pixels. It's a game. And this back and forth has been nothing more than picking nits.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this car as its great to drive however I have a problem...... I'm on PS4 with a T500rs wheel and I tried the car on 2 tracks. Silverstone GP and Nurb GP. On both tracks on the long straights at high speed my wheel starts vibrating violently for no reason making the car unusable. Does anyone have this problem and how do I cure it???????

I forgot to say I'm using the car in totally standard setup no tuning at all.

Most of the open wheel cars get that if the wheel or car ffb settings are off.

I;ve not changed a thing on either. No tuning or set up on the car, t500 calibrated but on default for everything.

That's why. Id use jacks classic car settings and you can try my wheel settings. I made for the t300 but a couple guys have used them on the 500 with good results. You may need to tweak them a little but they should be pretty close. You can find the car and my wheel settings on the oscarolim site. The ffb can be a ton better then the default settings.:D Almost forgot just set the ffb master to whatever feels good to you if you try my settings. You probably will be a little lower than me because your wheel is a little stronger.

So these are the car specific tweeks? What about the global settings?

There is the link. If you look down the page under consoles there is a link for the oscarolim site. It has everything you will need just look up my wheel settings under the t300 section.

They should be for sure. Just remember the wheel doesn't need to be super heavy and you may need to give yourself time to adjust a little at first but you should be able to clearly feel all the little details with those settings.

Shameless plug: check out my DW12 setups on projectcarssetups.EU
I wonder if you'd still get the wheel shakes with a custom setup without the ffb settings... Something I'll try when I get a wheel myself I suppose.
Back on topic: drove the Vette around Hock GP today for a good few laps. Sweet handling car with a custom tune. I'm not competitive in GT3/E cars though only just managed a 1:42.9.

With me being totally new to global FFb, Car specific FFb and car specific setup/tuning I tried looking at some setups (not ffb) for a car (not the indy car) and wow it totally transformed the car I was using. Not only did it improve feeling of what the car was doing but it also made the car more controllable and faster.

Next to look at FFB but I'm a little reluctant to as the car feels pretty damn good so maybe I'll switch back to the indy car to see if I can dial out the vibration.

You didn't change the car or wheel settings yet? Trust me start there before you start tweaking the cars. The only thing you really need to do to be fast on most cars is adjust air pressure. Most are set to high. Yes of course if you want to get everything from the cars and adjust them to better suit your tastes then tweak them but I wouldn't get crazy until you do the other stuff first. If you start tweaking cars and ffb and wheel settings youll never know what you really like and don't like. Id stick with a stock car for the wheel and ffb test. Many of us use the ruf gt3 at Watkins glen short. Its fast and bumpy and youll feel everything with the ruf.
