Would selling my fanatec CSR and buying Logitech g29 be a good step up?

That's essentially going from a Fanatec Porsche wheel to a Logitech G2X wheel, which I think most people would consider a downgrade. The G2X base has some advantages though, like lower FFB lag, less damped feel and higher rotational speed, which makes it preferable for me out of the two, but the FFB is overall somewhat weaker.

If you get a chance to try out a G25 or a G27 (or a G29/902 if someone has one) it wouldn't hurt to give it a go. IMO at that level it's more about user preference than one being outright better or worse.

Keep the CSR. I own a CSR and a set of CSP v2 pedals, and nothing's wrong with them (wheel's 5 years old and pedals 4 years old).
My local Fry's had a G29 on demo, and I didn't like it at all. I think that the CSR feels much better imo since it's belt driven.
I'm waiting for the CSL base if that comes out or save a little more for a CSW v2 base.
I just don't feel that the G29 is worth the 399.99 price tag.
