Community events trophy

I purchased this game off the store and I've noticed a trophy for doing 20 events but when I go to them I cannot enter any of them. Some start in a few weeks and one says 60+ days! Do they really take that long to become available? Seems pretty stupid to me and will take ages to achieve the trophy.

Yes. The schedules for the e-sports leagues are published; you don't need to be a registered pro to enter the events, however, so they'll count toward the trophy.
