Well finally i think ive got a keeper !
First up i got a Gigabyte Winforce OC 1070 and it checkerboarded and crashed all the time . Took it back after a week of updating drivers and bios (even though it had Samsung Memory).
Second got a Asus Dual Oc (Microm Memory) Had this for two weeks thinking that it was doing pretty well (compared to my previous GTX 1060) but i decided to start to OC it further only to find out all i could get (stock OC) in Time Spy was 5004 graphics result and after OC to its limit (+170 core and +250 Memory even with Bios update) was 5642 in Time spy . Returned it Today .
Then Today i got the Gigabyte Winforce OC 1070 (Samsung Memory) same as the first one i tried (only it works).
Time Spy stock OC 6128 (YAY) .
Question , Do i start to OC this Bad Boy ?

I have Had No probs with My EVGA 1070FTW GPU card... Even with the Reported Heat issues i have Not had any over heating issues either.

Maybe you should go EVGA???

+1 for EVGA. Their customer support is god-tier. I personally went with MSI (both a 1070 and 1080) because their Twin Frozr VI cooler is a little bit better, probably the best on the market.

Try disconnect one GTX 1070 and see what score you get on Time Spy ? I think my 6128 stock is pretty great . If i OC it , it will get pretty close to a 1080.

Gigabyte GTX 1070

Specks look just about even... i guess they will have same or similar performance.

Yeah , that's my card . it seems that the specs don't seem to matter so much as it all down to "The Silicon Lottery" Because the Three cards i had/got all have similar specs but all perform differently . Give Time Spy ago . In SLI you will get a awesome score but individually there will be a difference between both your cards and while in SLI it will run at your weakest cards speed .

Good stuff . My Asus that i had only went to 1771 ,lol but this hits 2052 in Time Spy without OC so i don't know if it will go much further in OC but memory should get a decent improvement , some are reporting as much as 750+ without raising voltage.
Do both yours have Samsung Memory? You can check with GPU-Z.

I went with a Zotac Amp edition, it's stable at 2.05GHz, and 4700MHz memory. It was a huge upgrade from my 970, and I'm really happy with it.

I just tried +150 core and +500 on memory and all seemed stable, i don't really like OCing memory to much because i cant monitor memory temps so i think i might just leave at +150 core and be happy.
