Today suddenly PCARS doesn't start in the oculus screen anymore.

Wen I press start the start screens pops up white shortly and closes again. I already rebooted a couple of times, have optimalised the driver in Geforce experience. Nothing changes all was working last time.

How do I proceed in solving this? Thanks

Not sure if i have same issue but since the latest graphics driver update from nvidia pcars in vr takes ages to load the menu and when it does load it keeps freezing for a few seconds. It takes me ages to even select free practice. It takes so long that i just give up and exit the game. When i start pcars in vr mode the cpu usage is 100%. When not in vr mode the game works fine it loads like normal. This is only a pcars issue as assetto cores works fine in vr mode.

Obvious question, have you tried rolling back to the previous NVidia driver ?
Then, if that does help... report it to NVidia so they can sort it.

No i haven't done that yet. I'm very new to pc so I haven't learnt how to do that yet. Is it easy to roll back drivers? I'll try that next time i'm home

Depends..
You can simply try using the rollback in device manager
https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/how-to-rollback-nvidia-drivers-in-windows-10/

Remove old drivers using something like DDU
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/840152/how-do-i-roll-back-my-current-driver-geforce-experience-had-a-new-one-for-me-but-i-think-it-was-fo/

Or do it by hand..
(which I'll leave for now..)

Either way, check the driver you currently have in NVidia control panel (under help->system) or GeForce Experience, then get the previous (if needed, as you shouldn't have to if the first technique works) drivers from searching here http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers (or NVidia.com/drivers either way you can select the "correct" language for your use.. no Aussie English ?)

First thing to start with is to find out what changed on your PC since the last time it still worked. Windows update, driver update, background programs, setting changes, new hardware connected etc. etc.
