Mine is Laguna Seca. Iv run it so many times over the years since starting my Racing game addiction on Gran Turismo 2, that its just a great track for me now.

Whats yours?

Nearly all the tracks have some aspect to them that I enjoy but if I'm just looking to turn some laps for fun, usually Oulton Park is where I end up. I like Laguna Seca a lot too but I cannot figure out that left hander after the corkscrew. Brands Hatch, Spa and Donnington are others that I particularly like. One of these days I'm going to learn the Nordschleife. I imagine it's a blast when you really know it.

are you talking about the left hander before coming onto the front stretch? If so the trick is to SLOW WAY DOWN, almost like going around a hair pin switch back turn. If you take it too fast you over shoot it. Its the hardest turn for me even to this day on Laguna Seca, I still mess it up every now and then.

EDIT: i know what turn your talking about now you have to break for it a little bit before you get to the actual turn. Try backing your breaking up a little bit, if you slow it down enough when you get to the center of the corner you should be able to ease back onto the gas. if you jump on the gas you overshoot it is a tricky corner but it is fun once you get it down

Bathurst, by miles.

I have been to the track many times and have not missed the 1,000 since 1982. In saying that, i tis a FUN track, the elevation changes, the compromise between downforce and straight line speed and the many corners you need to take way, way harder than you'd think as they are uphill (Cutting, Griffiths etc). Not to mention the three fast left handers across the top, get it right and you gain a full second, get it wrong and smashed race car all over the track.

That ought to be fun but try it in an underpowered car. Cars like that don't accelerate very well and so you have to maintain momentum through the turns to put up a good time. Also Druids (the next to last corner) is a really interesting turn. It took me a little while to figure out the solution to that one.

Yep, you can take that one a lot faster than it appears at first. The key is getting through the chicanes without losing too much speed. And then the last turn is a little tricky too. You can lose the rear end coming over that little crest. I just love that little track. Every corner is a different problem to solve.

getting through the right hander just before the first chicane can be tricky too i was finding sometimes i wasnt getting off of it straight and chasing the car down the straight leading to the chicane loosing speed and time

I tend to lean towards tracks with big stops and very defined character. Bathurst, Spa, Road America etc, you see a theme there.

I struggle on UK tracks with seemingly endless corners and very much needing more momentum, so Brands, Oulton park, Donington ... these floaty corners. I think some of it is that i use a pad not a wheel so cannot feather the throttle, i am either on the gas or not so TBH i can only drive high downforce cars at a reasonable speed, slower ones i am dead poor at.

Fathers day is coming though :)

Oulton Park, hands down. It's pretty much my go to track for anything slower than a GT3. While I detest most chicanes, I love the two chicanes at this track, especially the first one. Always fun throwing a car round that corner.

Snetterton 200/300, Bathurst, and Monza make up the other tracks where I love to spend much of my time. I actually enjoy running slow stuff at Monza Short. Just wish the AI weren't so boneheaded when it comes time to navigate the chicane.

I don't mind bus stops like Watkins Glen's or pre-2004 Spa's, in fact I rather enjoy those (and sadly miss Spa's). Those two in particular don't really detract from flow whereas a lot of chicanes do. Might be why I like Oulton's as they don't appear to detract from flow anywhere near as much as that horrible excuse for a chicane post-2006 Spa, or Nouvelle Chicane, as you pointed out (that may well be one of my most hated corners ever - love the two round the swimming pool though), or that madness they had on Casino Straight at Gilles Villenueve in '94/'95.

Oulton Park, Formula B. Unbeatable combo in Project Cars.

Gotta love Cadwell Park too. Now that's not a track for men

Gotta love all these British local tracks in fact. I just love them all. They are bumpy, difficult, and with pretty likeable layouts (they have a personality), plus of course the British weather that comes only to spice things up, and I love that too. Tracks here in Spain, with the exception of Cataluņa and Jarama are just..., meh.

I wished there would be more british tracks from the late '90s touring car championships in project cars 2.

I love Watkins Glen in this game, most of the corners are lovely sweeping bends together with the tracks brilliant ondulation particularly around 'the boot'. Also there's no really heavy braking zones as even the bus stop chicane is pretty high speed! Can't wait for the repaved version in PCARS2.

Bathurst and Nordschleife are the 2 circuits I've done more laps on than any other in the game. I think half the satisfaction, with Bathurst, is getting a clean lap, as VonSchwerin says. I don't know why I adore it so much but, it's always been one of my favourite tracks :)

It's because every corner counts, there's not one "nothing" corner. Even the two left handers at the bottom of the mountain are harder than they look. Hell corner is vital as you can drop half a second up the mountain the murray's corner is a bit tricky and easy to make a mistake on.

The hardest corner on any track in the entire game, to me anyway, is forrest elbow. You need to turn in so much earlier than you think you do but it's such a fine line because the inside wall like sto claim your doors. I always lose a few tenths there to decent drivers, i just cannot get my braking and turn in right.
