Thanks to everyone, unfortunately with the latest win10 update and the addition of my thrustmaster t300 alcantara edition I can not play online. In practice, I start the game and it starts normally, but when I start online or fast or new game I get the error and crash out. The strange thing is that it allows me to make online community challenges. for internet use powerline d-link av500 mini

win10 64bit
radeon sapphire 7850 2gb oc
motherboard asus m5a78l-mlx3
amd fx6100
8gb ram vegeante

So if the Win10 update apparently broke something, we need to find what changed with the update. Are your firewall settings still the same, in general and w.r.t. pCARS?

I have not changed any settings because the strange thing is that it always allows me to make the comunity challenges and even those are online but only the multiplayer does not go.
Possibly what should I control and where?

1. Are you using any command line parameters to start pCARS?

2. Have you tried reloading your video drivers since the Win10 update (as well as the Thrustmaster drivers)? Many people have needed to reload drivers due to weird random issues after the Win10 update.

3. Something else to try:

4. Lastly, you can also try disabling UDP if you have that enabled.

I tried to uninstall and rebuild everything, the firewall is like it should be but it does not really matter

So that is only one of my bullet points (#2). Answer the first bullet point, and then try #3 & #4.

I've tried all the solutions, I've also contacted a computer friend and tried everything, resizing everything to change user and more, changing ports and anything related to the modem but nothing, please solve it.

If it was working before the Win10 update, and not after, I'm not sure what you expect us to do.

Just to make sure, have you tried renaming your profile and try creating a new profile? Sometimes there can be bad things stored in a profile which can cause undesirable behavior.

Have you tried a full reset of your modem/router?
Also maybe applying a static ip to your PC may help resolve issues.

Windows 10 Creative Update seems to be the culprit in most cases judging from post's here and other forums/sites. Hopefully there "Fall" Creative update won't be such a pain.
The only "Creative" thing about there updates seems to be coming up with new curse words. Shame you had to go threw such extreme steps to get things back in order though.
Best of luck.:)

This is why I'm stick'n to Win7.:D
For PC2 I might have to go Win10 because of DX12...?, Not sure.

Happens to me too sometimes on W7 when playing online.

If you're using a nvidia card and have a powerful cpu, such as top i5 or i7, as well as some nice SSD, then I'd suggest disabling hard drive shader cache. Reduced the chances for this crash at around 95% for me.

Turn your firewall off as well, always for gaming. That helps too

Nevertheless this is cause by some weird buggy instances but all related to the game net-code. Probably they way it interacts with steam and clients through data net flow.
