So i just upgraded my wheel from a Driving Force GT to a G920. The wheel is detected fine by both Windows 10 and my LGS however when i try to install the Logitech profiler software its dont detect any peripherals even though it detected the DFGT perfectly. My G920 is running the latest firmware, im running the latest LGS and My Windows 10 Pro x64 is up to date.

The wheel seems to be working great in Pcars, any idea why its not being detected by Logitech profiler?

Cheers.

I didn't think that the Logitech Profiler worked with the G920 and you had to just use Logitech Gaming Software.

To my understanding the Logitech Profiler was just for the older wheels (G25/27 etc)

lgs510_x64.exe is for wheels G25/G27 and older, the G920 uses Software Version: 96.3.49 from Logitech. I think the settings are applied through Windows device manager for the G920. Control Panel > Devices and Printers, locate the G920, right click and select Properties. ( not sure on this, but worth a look).

Yeah this is what i dont get! This was also one of the first things i tried as i could do this with the Driving Force GT however when i right click my G920 and in Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers and select properties tab there is a setting tab and test tab but no sliders like there was with my Driving Force GT?

Hoping somebody with G920/G29 can shed some light on this?

Adjust the wheel settings in the game, not Windows?

I own a G920 and I can tell you for sure that (a) the Profiler does not work with the G920 or the G29, as said before; and (b) most of the Profiler functionality has been lost with the Logitech Gaming Software or LGS, including FFB adjustment. More to the point, LGS is a pretty-looking piece of crap.

Ok cheers peeps. I was honestly starting to think i was having software/hardware when the profiler wouldn't detect my wheel lol.

Thanks again.

How do people have their centering spring strength set for Pcars? Centering spring enabled or disabled? Also the steering sensitivity?

Mine is currently all default.

Cheers.

Should be setup similar to the G25/G27 Profiler:

The G920 does not use the profiler.

As Roger posted, Center Spring enabled, but strength set to 0. Sensitivity should be 50, and degrees should be 900..

Great! Thanks. I love this wheel but i hate the fact that Logitech have take away the ability to be able to use the profiler. How am i supposed to set my FFB strength?

You will set it within each sim you play. The Profile settings were really for older titles which couldn't directly control wheels.

But im using Jack Spade FFB Tweaker Files, any setting i change in game will be over ridden by those tweaker files right?

Yes. I do not use Jack's files so I would keep discussion to his files in his thread (which is independent of the Profiler/Logitech Software as well).

I had never seen the LGS so did not know what settings it contained, so I posted all of them from the LP.
Also Jacks files will not have any effect on the global settings such as FFB strength, spring, Tyre force etc etc.
They only effect the in-car FFB settings.

But like Mahjik said, better off discussing this in Jacks thread.
