Hi guys,

Was just hoping to get an answer on whether upgrading from my 1080 to a 1080ti would make much difference in the detail i can run PC2 in VR please.

Would it be worth it or not really do you think?

1080 is already a monster gpu, so the answer is no. Not worth the "jump" to a ti even for VR.

The only reason to upgrade from a 1080 to the ti would be for playing all maxed out at 4k, which wouldn't be worth the investment as well because you can play with the standard model at 4k very high already, while keeping solid FPS marks above 60, depending on the game of course.

This question is directed to someone that has Beta-Tested Project Cars 2 with Oculus Rift or Vive.
-In regards to VR with Project Cars 2 and with the understanding that PC1 was not optimized for VR, is PC2 less taxing on the 1080?

I played with the Rift and a 1080 and felt the pixel density was weak at 1.5, but even at 2.0 the distance was never sharp and the performance took a hit.
-Does Project Cars 2 look and perform better in VR since it has been optimized from the onset?

Thanks.
