Hi all

I've had a search but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.

Is there a list of supported steering wheels and pedals for the PC version of Project Cars 2 anywhere?

Or, can anyone confirm if the Logitech DFGT will be supported as it is in the first game?

Thanks in advance.

There are no official lists for any console yet as far as I am aware.

I hope the TM TS-PC racer will be fully supported. Especially the D-pad for use in menus.

I think so the most important question is to know if at PC version of PCars2 will not going to repeat the same problems with the FFB on some wheels, especially Logitech G25/G27...

You will likely need to be more specific as not everyone had issues with FFB.

Something about this: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?22122-G25-G27-Wheel-Setup-Guide

I hope so PCARS2 don't repeat the same problems of PCars1 from the first minute of gameplay at September 22th.

I never even knew about that issue.

SMS can't control when a vendor has a problem with their own drivers.

So, is probably must we have to apply the same procedure of that PCars1 post to be able to correctly use the Logitech G25/G27 in PCars2 ?

if a steering wheel manufacturer in this case logitech is having problems with there drivers there is nothing SMS can do about that only Logitech can

which they probably wont at this point because they want you to get their latest wheel the G29/G920

Then, well played by Logitech...

The approach SMS took for wheels is different than the traditional approach. Most older titles just treat all wheels as a basic USB device and send the same instructions to whatever it is... This works but doesn't really take advantage if you spent more money on a wheel than someone with a cheaper one. Instead, SMS used the manufacturer API's for the wheels. This allows them to take advantage of any manufacturer specific functions, but this also means any issues with the manufacturer drivers will cause issues.

My TS-PC wheel works perfectly in pcars1 including the D-pad so I see no reason why it won't work in Pcars2 we will see..........

I still have my T150, and I hope PC2 will support it. I know there's better and more expensive wheels out there but I don't want to upgrade until this one breaks.

I'm also curious if the DFGT is supported, anyone have any more of an idea of supported wheels?

On PC practically ALL available Racing Wheels are supported (Some with the Custom Wheel Option)

Don't know exactly about the Consoles...

Thanks (again) for the fast response. That's good to hear, I was confident any wheel could be made to work as 'custom', but its always nice to have native support, for navigating menus etc. So that menu 'back' doesn't end up on the opposite side of the wheel from 'Ok' etc.

Everything seems to be sensibly done so far, I'd be shocked if the consoles have wheel compatibility issues.

Cheers

Well there's this PS4 thing with Fanatec wheels not being supported anymore, only the new CSL Elite PS4 wheel...
