Hi all,

Been off the forums for quite sometime, was wondering about the dashboard apps? Are the ones that came out for PCARS going to work for PCARS 2? Thanks in advance, cannot wait for PCARS 2!

In short, yes. The same apps that were developed for PC1, will work with PC2.

pCars 2 will support different Shared Memories...

The Old PCars 1 Shared Memory and an enhanced PCars 2 Shared Memory... Aswell as UDP (1/2)

Where abouts are the UDP settings for console? I've been through every menu and can't find anything related to it?

It's missing in the Console Release... We allready have forwarded this to the Dev's...

The wonderful thing is the help that SMS offer to get your APP working with pCars 2

As Ian said in the Spot The Ozzie interview , if you need help with your code call /email them and they will be happy to help you get your cool app running on pcars 2

So coder, if you have ideas for a great app that could give pcars 2 some greater scope go for it code code code, and know that SMS will be there to help

Im hoping some clever wizard creates an app to reveal (live track) ideal tyre pressures/camber angles and wear rates so that we can see adjust live based on the track temps, air humidity/temps etc

That's a huge miss, and a big disappointment.

Do the console versions output PCARS or PCARS2 data without this setting available?

I don't understand - are SMS going to help coders by documenting the Pcars2 API (shared memory and UDP packet format)? Or do I have to contact the developers directly and ask for this? If so, who should I contact?

Hoping to see them in the first patch too. They really are very useful

I wish it wont take forever to get that BACK... :(
My T300 wheel is useless with default settings, cant figure out what to change to get it right like in first game, UDP gone on PS4, keypad and button box not recognized anymore ?
Just spent $120 on stuff i need to wait for fixes before any enjoyment.

Going back to PC/iRacing till then.

See you back soon i wish, PCars was my best Game/Sim on PS4, if GT Sport release before PCars2 get his sh..t fixed, that will hurt deeply the sales.

Go go go guys, you can do it, you did it in the past, learn from experience and keep doing the best Racing Game with options no others offers on consoles.
Else you'll be eaten alives by Consoles main flagships.

Thank you.Although Project Cars 2 itselve is awesome, it feels a bit incomplete without these tools.
