Hello and welcome to RevolutionSimRacing (https://revolutionsimracing.com), a friendly and competitive group of PC exclusive, Project CARS 2 based racers.

l
RevolutionSimRacing was formed after several years experience of online and league-based racing. Our goal is to provide racers of all abilities with a friendly and welcoming community of like minded gamers and a platform where they can race regularly, cleanly and competitively. We are also proud to have been the Official Testing Group for the development of Project CARS 2, hosting many multiplayer races with both testers and devs alike, to bring everybody the best possible experience from the sequel.

l
After the enormous popularity of the first two official seasons, the Revolution Cup will be continuing with a third season, in conjunction with the release of Project CARS 2. We are also very proud to announce that, for our third season we are once again partnered with SMS as an official league of the Project CARS series (http://www.projectcarsesports.com/leagues.html).

l
Alongside this, every Tuesday evening we hold an induction session, allowing the staff a chance to assess new drivers and sign off on them joining the rest of our members out on track. Already inducted drivers often attend these events as well, filling out the grid and providing some exciting racing and valuable advice to newer drivers. We are holding a one-off induction session on the 23rd of September, to give new members the chance to take part in our opening race the following day.

l
The second of our weekly sessions, held on a Thursday and/or a Sunday evening, is our official races. These sessions offer a variety of sprint and endurance races, spanning the full breadth of tracks and cars found in Project CARS 2. These races, alongside our Revolution Cup races, are 'ranked' using our unique stats system (https://revolutionsimracing.com/pages/career-stats/), enabling our members to keep track of their progress (and that of their rivals!).

l
We also play host to multi-organisation events, working closely with such groups as PantherRaceDivision and ApexOnlineRacing, to bring some cross-league rivalry in 2hr+, multi-class, endurance races. Our most recent event was attended by over 90 drivers, spread across three lobbies.

l
It doesn't matter if you're Michael Schumacher or Miss Daisy's chauffeur, RSR is about having fun and enjoying yourself, not outright pace. Clean driving is the name of the
game here at RSR - we'd rather have a track full of Vicars than one or two Pastor's. As the strength and quality of drivers at RSR continue
to grow, we are always looking for new drivers to join us for the Revolution Cup - Season 3 and more!

Looking forward to seeing you on the grid and we hope you make RevolutionSimRacing (https://revolutionsimracing.com) your new home for online Sim Racing!

I need to get the induction race completed. My work scheduled has been in conflict with the induction dates and most of the MP test events.

TL;DR :p

But we're always looking forward to meet other clean and fair drivers! And don't worry if you're slow - speed doesn't matter nearly as much as sportsmanship and fairness do.

In the background shots I'm in the rear yellow M6 with yellow lights...the crash you hear at turn 1 with about a minute to go was when the car in front spun out and came back across in front of me...pretty much ended my race because I had to limp round the whole lap to pit for repairs and despite my best efforts to keep out of the way I got into more trouble. Hopefully, I can avoid incidents like this as I start my RSR racing journey.

I look forward to racing with you guys in the very near future...

Edit: this was lobby 2 right?

Even though i missed most the events due to time zones i had a blast racing with you guys.

I "somehow" skipped the induction skipped the induction process  because i could only ever make it on a weekend, but i think its because this league is about crafting your skill with good sportsmanship. If you show up with a good attitude i don't see them pushing you away.

Sim Racing Expo 2017

RevolutionSimRacing decided this year to make a big meet up at the Sim Racing Expo. Together with the Blancpain Sprint Series it was the perfect place to meet in RL.
All in all this was a great weekend. 18 people, aged 18 to 45 years old, from 6 different nations but with one common hobby. It is really astonishing how a hobby can bring "strangers" together.

The game is on for 2018! ;)

If the time difference wasn't so significant, would love to join one of theses races.

I've never been part of any league of any sort before however I'm interested to see what's its all about. I'm located in Atlantic Canada.

Are you guys using dedicated servers or p2p? Does it matter where you are located regarding ping & lag? Thanks

Edit: it seems most you guys are located in Europe using UTC timezone which would be too early for me and most of us in North America. Is there a chance you guys expand with the release of Project Cars 2 for us in North America? I would tend to think some races at around 8-9PM EST Timezone would attract it's fair share of drivers.

We use dedicated servers. As far as I know there aren't any plans to have a separate NA region chapter.
Regarding pings, I would have to ask our North American alien.

If you are looking for a league, but you are based at America/Canada and so on, I can only advise you to join those chaps: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?51217-PantherRacingDivision-NA-and-PC-based-Two-Races-a-Week

From time to time we are doing crossover events with PRD on a Saturday or Sunday. They are following the same ideas and principles as RSR, you are making no mistake by joining them :)
