I have fiddled with the settings but I can't find a way to remove arms without it also removing the wheel.. It is SO immersive breaking when playing H-shifter cars in VR!!!

The wheel will only stay on if it's showing vital info (MOTEC). Same funcionality as in PCARS 1.

Ok I see. Will this get fixed so that we can only have the wheel showing at all times in VR?

So you mean a Remove Arms option? But the Steeringwheel should be showed normaly?

Yes! It makes a HUGE difference in VR when playing certain cars. In F1 cars it's ok with the drivers arms, because my arms are always stationary, but with other cars that has H-pattern shifter, I often hold everywhere else than on the sides on the rim, and sometimes I don't even take my hand away from the shifter. In these scenarios, it's seriously immersion braking.. Also if I have the drivers arms active on these cars, and the car starts to slide, I'm have a more tendency to not catch the physical wheel in a way I otherwise would, because my brain is always telling me that I should move my physical arms identical to the virtual one.. So in a sense it makes me drive worse too.

Ok, noted for Wished Features... :)

nothing kills immersion in VR like seeing a wheel moving all by itself ....

That's not true. The rim is after all stationed exactly the same place. It's more immersion breaking when the arms are NOT on same place. But read what I just wrote a few posts above.. The option to remove them should be there.

In F1 cars I agree with you that arms are better.

I have all my "vital info" on Arduino displays and secondary monitors using SIMHUB, is there no way to remove the wheel completely irrelevant of what it wants to show ?
