Thrustmaster 458 wheel is not recognised by game...I can log into Xbox One, & manoeuvre through menu's until I get into PC2.

Message pops up stating that controller is disconnected...wheel buttons/pedals don't respond.

Is this wheel supported in the game?

Thanks...

Are you starting the Game with the Wheel (Not the Controller)?

Thanks Siberian Tiger, yes I started the Xbox One with the wheel and navigate the Xbox One menu with no problems.

As soon as I load the game I get a message to connect a controller...nothing works unless I turn on an Xbox One controller....

(fwiw the wheel works fine in F1 2017)

Out of curiosity, are you using an Xbox One S or the original?

Don't think it would make a difference, but...

I have the 458 Italia edition and it recognises it. On xbox1 standard.

It does shake uncontrollably if i have the ffb on anything but "informative" though

I haven't been able to reproduce your problem so far on my original Xbox One.

I have the 458 Italia edition and it recognises it. On xbox1 standard.

The 458 Italia (otherwise known as the TX) is a completely different wheel than the 458 Spider.

Happy ending! I did a hard reset of the console and all appears to be good now....wheel recognised and working perfectly!

Thanks for the comments & assists...
