Hi,

1st, sorry for my poor english, I'm a french guy.

I really surprise by the very low sound levl with pcars2. With earphones or loudspeakers I need to use the max level for earing a poor engine sound very far. With pCars1, I can't support at the same level. I've checked in option menu that all the audio adjustement are on 100.

Have you the same problem.

Tx.

Yes, on internal TV speakers as well as on TV 2.1 external Sound system and with a high end stereo system too. I even connected my 5.1 pc system to my TV.
My usual volume level is around 40 (on a range from 1 to 100) with nearly
every Xbox game (Pcars1 included), Fifa 17 needs to be put to 70 and PCars2 to full 100 to match the same level.
I race in bonnet view and noticed that chase view is a bit more powerful and slighty louder.

Edit: Some cars seem to be on "normal" master volume level.
After taking my seat in the Zakspeed l thought hell break loose in my living room. It is at least two times louder than every other car I have driven by now.

Yes. It is a problem. It happens to PS4 too. Very surprised by this "defects" but it still pass the test. How can you drive a racing car like a Lexus sedan?

Same here on PS4.
Some cars are fine, while others are VERY quiet, so that l have to go to my headphones volume limit. And even then its still quiet :/

Yes, me too.

The balance of audio here is shocking. Some cars have next to no audio at all- 488GT3, Mclaren 650 Gt3 etc. I also need to turn my television up to 60 to even hear the engine noise. If I played Pcars 1 on that volume I would destroy half the neighborhood. And I have just noticed that if I drive the car in the wet I hear 95% rain noise and only 5% engine sound.

I believe the developers are aware of the issue.

It's been noted on both Xbox and PS4.

Yes, please can this be fixed ASAP. It's a SERIOUS letdown when your GT3 911 engine sounds like a dolls house vacuum cleaner and simply cannot be heard above the racket of the wobbling steering wheel. I've had to adjust all sound levels to 20 with my engine to 100. Problem is, when anyone uses their mic to talk, it nearly blows my loudspeakers.

Same here on PS4. Low sounds using the headset Pulse Elite at max level.

Changed to PCARS1 and no sound problems.

Waiting for the patch 1.03 to fix that problem too.

Porsche 935's might as well be electric. External cars great sound. Only view I have found acceptable sound is look to the rear that has normal volume. Can't drive looking behind me. Surprising they would release like this

Do you think this problem will be solved with a patch (on xbox) and, if yes, when ?

I'd like to know that to decide if I keep this game or not.

Tx.

I have noticed that my volume reudces on its own mid race for no reason. Its ok, then volume is reduced about 30% on its own.
