Formula Rookie @ Long Beach , I qualified pole , and nobody passed me, yet I was a lap down the whole race

ETA , this is repeatable . You can see me in 12th place at the start with everyone behind me . The guy behind me is on LAP1 and in first .

I've seen this on my career as well, but then for the AI. AI that started on pole was a lap down al of a sudden.

This is being looked at. It happens when you start on pole.

As a temporary fix, try to not launch at the start. I have the same problem if I stand on the gas and drop into 1st on start. If I start in 1st and don't hit the gas until green, somehow it correctly counts my first lap.

To OP. Same issue here. Formula Rookie. First race. Got pole. Immediately go to last at start.

I have been trying this. Hasn't helped.

Hmmm, it's worked for me every time. (I have to keep trying because the game keeps freezing for 2-5s at a time causing a crash).

Maybe its not due to the launch method, but the fact that I'm getting passed by the 2nd place car before crossing start/finish?
