View Full Version : [Explaned] what's up with the ranking system?

Today me and some friends started racing online with the ranking system on. I was the host. We all started at U1500.
Had a clean race, no penalties, I won and went up to U1513. My friends came in 2nd and 3rd they went up to F1500. Next race my friend bumped into my back, both went of the track, finished the race clean after that, came in 1st and went up to U1525.
My friend however who pushed me of the track and missed a few turns went from F1500 to E1487 ??? I am confused right now...

100 is the lowest limit, so decrease to 1487 is what is expected

Ok, I get that but whats up with the system of U F E D C B A S.
You start at U and work your way to S. I'm still in class U and he is already in class E. Or am I missing something...

Number and Letter are not tied together...

Numbers: It's your Skill Rating - The Faster and the More Races you win the higher the Number will be.
Letter: It's your Safety Ranking - Going Offtrack / Cut Track / Crashes, playes a role here. U=Unranked and then F,E,D,C,B,A,S. The Higher the more safely you are driving.

Thank you, they're not related. That's what I missed.
