Hi,
When the front of the car is damaged, the oil temperature (engine) starts to rise.
After stopping the car the temperature does not decrease (or decrease very slowly).
When you go to the pit stop, the temperature is constant and you leave the box with the overheating engine again ...

Which car was this with? I suspect it could be car specific...

At least Toyota GT-86 RocketBunny and its GT4 version have a known car specific overheating issue, even without damage to the car.

In other cases it may be normal in the sense that the engine does not get proper airflow anymore (especially when you stop). But of course excessive overheating would be a bug.

Nope, it's a know Issue...

Oil Temp doesn't reset on Back to Pits or Pitsstops...

Allready noted ;)

Basically if you see your engine temps going up rapidly, get it fixed sooner rather than later.. otherwise you may find yourself pitting too late and actually blowing the engine on the out lap ...
