How does this work, how do you know you are close to gaining these licenses ? Apparently the number next to your safety grade means nothing to your licence that's just used as some sort of matchmaking

Not sure if I understand your question.
Do you mean you want to know how close you are from getting a better safety rating, like going from F -> E for example?

If yes, that's not being disclosed on purpose.

There's 5 achievements for racing licenses one can earn, being:

Raving Rookie
No longer a Rookie
Definitely not a Rookie
I'm a Pro
Seen it All

These achievements are for obtaining your Rookie License, Amateur License, Pro-am License, Pro License and Veteran License respectively.

I'm personally curious to know if these correspond to your seniority, as explained here: http://www.projectcarsesports.com/license.html

If so, I'd also like clarification on how many hours one needs to spend in multiplayer before earning each of these licenses.

You unlock gold at least with your number of race starts. My gold unlocked and I got the achievement at the green light on my 500th race start (online + offline).

I read this somewhere else:

Online races only for licences.
50 races for amateur
100 races for pro am
200 for pro
350 for veteran

I've just completed my 50th race on PS4 and haven't had the trophy pop up. Hopefully not a glitched trophy.

2000 ???? If I get +10 in a hour, I'm grateful. And I don't usually get out of the top 3, which means you REALLY have to find full lobbies of A1600+ to start winning something worth the competition

Yeah but what if you race clean but you aren't rapid? .. are you just doomed to have a crappy license?

Update. I now have a bronze licence and b1365.
I think it's 50 races in open lobbies that triggered it so what they are saying number of races seem to be in open only lobbies. That's OK as long as you join or host. I host E1000 min and will only join E or higher online races. I'm on PS4 if anyone wants some clean racing add me with a message on there. PS4 tag is Dazz_UK70. With an underscore not a space.

I received my pro-am level not exactly at 100 online races target but a little bit later... maybe 110-120
So I suppose 100 online races IF online rating is enabled... something like this (no evidence)

Correct. Only races with activated rating count.

i've only ever seen an handful of drivers with a 2000+ license, also because only an handful of the very best PC2 drivers bother racing in pub lobbies. Usually aliens compete in leagues.

Interesting. Would you mind explaining what reason that may be? Telling people HOW to drive safely might encourage them to actually drive safely you know.
As opposed to ramming into everyone on T1 and messing up the ratings of all those who actualy know how to and try to get past the mess that is U rated races.

/Someone who has been rammed back to 0% progress way too many times.

Based on my personal experience: Yes.

So you have to push for position and pass people tightly but cleanly. And that's when you end up getting rammed in the butt by the plebians who drive like verstappen and think ramming is the propper way to pass.

Hi guys, im currently at 216 races. I want to race the right way (not by boosting) to 350 races. I can do 5 races daily easily. But does the race that i raced, needs to have damage set "Full Damage" or does "Visual Only" damage is also counted for the remaining 150 races i needed to do? I just wanna make sure the race i raced counts towards the Seen It all Trophy (complete 350 races).

Help guys!!
Thank you!!
