Hi, just checking my temps so my cpu is 65-72 degrees and about 50% capacity and my gpu is locked at 82 degrees and 99% capacity. Getting around 100 fps on mainly max but I'm just checking my temps cheers.

I would suggest that if your monitor can not display 100hz, limit your FPS to a little bit above the refresh rate (60hz for example I would limit to 66 with command line -fpscap 66) so you can get lower temps and lower utilization for a more optimal gaming experience.

If your panel can display 100fps, then you're fine ;)

I feel you :) I'm on the same page. What I do though, is to play at 120hz with frame limiting at 125fps, and I lower my details so my GPU hovers between 85/90%

Is that with your 1080TI? How do you limit frames? I've done it with nvidia inspector but that's for games on older engines I think.

From steam, Right click in Project CARS 2, Properties. Set launch options and write "-fpscap 125" (without quotes)

Ok thanks, I'll try it. The game runs great but I'm all for saving my hardware.

Well I've tried different things tonight and nothing moves when in game. GPU about 82 and CPU 65 to 70. I googled it and I think it's fine at those temps, I could always lower the gpu temp limit in afterburner but I don't think I need to.
