I have noticed that the game is rated as "GOOD" for the usage with 3D Vision glasses by Nvidia in the latest driver. They recommend setting SHADOW DETAIL to off. I did this but I still see the weird ghosting in the game.
Anybody has any recommendation how to get clearer stereoscopic picture without ghosting?

Yes ! it's rated "good" but it's not good !!! I hope there will be a solution, probably a patch coming from helixmod ... maybe?

I want the 3Dvision !!! it's the best immersion that is not too dangerous for eyesight, compared to VR glasses :-p

I do like 3D Vision a lot. For me the clarity of 3D Vision (1440p) is much more prefereble to VR set which I also have.

I have VR and 3d vision. Since buying VR I never touched the 3d glasses. Always a lot of problems with 3d vision. And the ghosting was killing me.. And btw. VR is better for your eyes then staring at a screen close to you. And 3d vision for your eyes is even worse

hey guys I own both, VR is more "freedom" but 3dvision is the better choice in terms of sharper and crisper visual content. My rig is equipped with three 50" flat panels (3D projectors) and every time when I was on VR 3Dvision feels still unbeaten. BTW my experience is based on Assetto Corsa, 3dvision in pCars2 is crap...

Finally someone who agrees with me. I still feel 3DVision was more of a revolution than VR(which is for me 3D first and surround vision second). Even more so when you take into account that my first Zalman was from 2009... I love my Vive, but the shine went off it a lot earlier than 3D... And the image is sharper in plain old 3D(Vision) of course.

And I might get back into 3D again because my racing rig is going downstairs and my 55" agrees with the Nvidia drivers a lot better(that TV supports checkerboard, the 32"upstairs doesn't).

I searched everywhere for a patch to play in 3DVision, I asked for help on the forum Nvidia, some began to work on it, but I think they gave up, apparently it's quite difficult to correct. .. it's really a shame

What do you think? do you have information?

Never took a look at 3Dvision. Will do asap. ;)

Edit: Ahh you need a special 3D glasses. I only have active 3D glasses for use with my samsung tv.

Its been a few years, not sure what its like myself either, but there was a 3D Play for use with 3d tv's
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-overview.html

I loved 3D vision, but at the time when I got it (when it first arrived) the monitor selection was.... between two and they where just "OK" imo.
I ended up with a 3D projector, but it was 720p so not that amazing, but still great at the time. VR is great too, but I would probably switch for 3 x 3D screens, if games supported it as well as they do VR.

I play with 3DTVPlay, with a videoprojector, but with Assetto, it's very great !!! the sensation of speed, depth, distances with other cars, stopping distances, everything is more natural and "easy". It's so almost real ... it's a shame that there is a compatibility problem with Pcars2 ...!
