Does anyone know if Pcars 2 supports the additional controls on the F1 and other similar Fanatec Club sport Rims?

Map functions to the dials or 2nd joytsick?

Or only the buttons on the CSL rim included with the base?

TIA

I'm using the BMW rim and there's some buttons and switches that won't map so I guess it will be the same with F1 rim?
Hopefully they might start working after the patch to make the PS4 recognise the wheel correctly?

I have the Formula Carbon rim and by default the 2nd joystick does not work. FFB is also very saturated and unplayable. Hoping for a quick fix soon...

yes - looking at the BMW rim, looks like the same setup with the buttons - 11 + the 2 joysticks - d-pad with rotary and press, and joystick with press - just different layout. Nice rim btw.

Looks like the devs only worked to the basic csl e rim, but they really should map those extra controls - codemasters is the same for F1 2017. Had slightly higher hopes for SMS as they did have good fanatec support in PC1

Disappointing as the base DOES support the other rims.

Thanks a lot for confirming that. We need to request this feature.

Can the devs please add support for the Club sport rims extra features?

Thanks!

I miss it too. You can map usefull stuff to them

Not 100% sure but I don't think it's possible to support the extra buttons etc on ps4. Same thing with Thrustmaster wheels, their F1 rim has more functionality on pc than on ps4 too.

Yes that's a key question - the hardware is sending the signals, but is the driver/SDK provided to the game devs limiting the functions or are the devs not coding all the features?

What does SMS say? What does Fanatec say?

Nothing from SMS?

I'll second ohjeah's opinion on this; I think that Sony will only allow officially mapped buttons on the non-PS4 rims.

Well you may be right as I've got no response from SMS devs here or Thomas on the Fanatec site as well. Bah sony!

Still would like a definitive answer - we can all speculate.

My leanings towards my next upgrade being a PC rather than a PS4 PRO keep getting stronger. Just haven't wanted the extra hassle...
