Guys, any advice on how to get heat into the dry tyres on Formula Rookie, particularly the rear? I can smash the AI on level 80 on nice warm wets in the pouring rain but can barely get through a corner without spinning out in the dry and the rear tyres rarely go above the aqua colour as they're not warming up. I love racing but tuning bores me to tears so I'm fairly clueless as to what to do.

You don't need to get crazy. This is a bug. I'm playing with a KI 110% and without ABS and so on. That mean I know how to set a car. We should wait till the fix this problem. In the meantime we can train. In this way may you improve your skills or you play F1 2017. :D

Ah, so this is a confirmed bug? That explains why the feckers are borderline undrivable then!

I heard putting all-weather or rain tires on is a workaround at the moment.

I did Knockhill in the dry and struggled badly. Qualifying at Oulton was in the dry and I qualified last. Rained in the Oulton race and the car was a dream and I went from last to first over 8 laps with no problem.

Reduce the pressure. Sometimes by a fair bit.

I have. There's something fundamentally wrong with the tyre temps in the dry in this calss. It's a known bug.

The same is for ginetta gt5 and clio cup slick dry tyres. Impossible to get heat into them. Might be also an issue due to set-ups not working or being not affected by weather.

I'm finding them great fun to drive in the dry or wet

I dropped mine in formula rookie to about 80 from 1.25 and have no problems..
