One of biggest gripes about games is when there is no option to choose Scottish as my Nationality. The Scottish flag is already in the game as knockhill is Scottish circuit and displays this so surely this couldn't be hard to add a different nationality.

Sincerely,
Salty Scotsman

This issue has been raised already in another thread and from what I remember Ian Bell said it was a publisher decision ( flag options ) Did you notice there is no Republic of Ireland either. Not quite sure why....didn't read all the posts...

The Republic is there but no Saltire, Welsh or N. Irish flags... so in my profile I'm from bloody Vanuatu or something.

Publisher Clearly has no idea how nationality's work. If you are going to add one add them all its that simple.

Why would you be against Scottish racers having their flag?

Let's not make this an independence arguement, ffs. It'll go to shit.

Codemasters have used the saltire for years without mention of independence, nancies, walls, or Nicola so the answer is hee-haww to do with politics.

I'm not getting into a political debate, and I'm not against it, just not worth getting disgruntled over, when the Union Jack serves its purpose well enough

It's a flag - not a Jack, and if I want to identify as Scottish online I don't believe it does serve it's purpose well enough. I don't think anybody is genuinely upset here. I think a few people might be curious, like myself, as to the actual reasons behind it. Again - Codemasters! What makes them use it and other games not? It's an interesting question I doubt we'll see a definitive answer to.

That's taken in good grace. You need a sense of humour to be Scottish. We pretty much rip into each other in a similar fashion. It's nothing new. :)

I did say we probably wouldn't ever have a definitive answer. I guess if you can't include NI then you technically can't include us all, but by that reasoning the union flag is just as offensive to almost as many people. Ach, that's had enough consideration from me. What would be good would be to have a world flag, a wee globe.

Does it really matter? Would I love to have a Welsh flag? Absolutely. Would that inevitably lead to English men calling me a sheep sha**er online? Absolutely. Is the lack of flag worth taking time out of the game to moan about? Absolutely not. We weren't in Fifa for I don't know how many years so the lack of flag isn't worth complaining about, especially as the Union Jack is in the game and like it or not, we are part of the UK
