I have been racing a lot of Indycar at Texas oval and at Indy oval. Please help me understand why EVERYTIME going into turn one at the start of a race the AI come to almost a complete stop causing you to either hit them or passing like 15 to 20 cars in turn one. That isn't realistic by any means and it's so frustrating that this is the normal. I absolutely love this game overall! But the AI at the start of races are ridiculous that they can't maintain speed and continue through turn one like you would expect. Is this something that can be patched (I hope) because otherwise offline is useless and might as well race with 3 cars. I start in the back and because of this flaw I'm in the top 5 after turn one because they are so slow at tracks that are supposed to be flat out and no braking. Please fix!!!!!!! Thanks

I think across the board (havent tried the Indycar yet) the AI is dog slow off the line. I think I saw that they are aware of the problem and are looking to patch it, as I agree it's an immersion killer. Makes a nonsense of qualifying. Someone here suggested that you start in second gear as a workaround, which is a genius and what I intend doing tonight!

Or you just qualify on pole and then all the mayhem goes on behind you :)
