Iam sorry to say this cause I like the game and I was looking forward to driving in the snow.
But I have driven in the snow in a real car.
me and my mates use to rally around in old mark 1 n mk2 escorts in the snow. and xr2s. and more.

it was FUN. I think its more about visual you don't loose that much grip you don't really loose control unless you are careless snow driving is controllable.
But in the game when you add snow to the track. it is impossible to race on it. it is not controllable
its hard to go through the gears you couldn't actually race someone.
and what happens is like somebody is sitting beside you and just when you don't expect it they yank the wheel and you loose control. WHY did you do that. PLEASE FIX IT. it should be like rain driving.
its not fun and its not simulated. so what's the point in it. only way to enjoy the snow its to make sure you don't turn the snow on the track floor and just let it snow.
having snow on the ground on track's is just very annoying unplayable and in the end people are just not going to use it. I don't think I will use it again. its not fun

I think there is a known issue currently with the Snow Tyres.

A couple of things:

1st, Snow on tarmac is tricky because studs might not give you the best grip.
2nd, try a full ICE track (Sampala, Mercedes ICE Track) and compare.
3rd, is not the same driving my Focus RS in the ice than a track/race car RWD in the ice/snow... (haven't tried the one you're reporting though).

Please, try the track I suggested with a car that you would know how it will handle on studs and report back, you might have a different impression.

I will try an ice track I noticed some ice track videos and the car looked controllable. anybody tried wet tyres in snow.?
am sure I have tried that.
anybody with any ideas please let them be known or anybody with a good experience.
Please let me know thankyou. am sure this will get fixed but we need to be vocal its still a great game but this kind of control is useless. and makes snow a non fun useless add on. but I hope to see that change. I really do. especially before xmas :)
