Hello Guys

can you please explain this to me?

I have disabled ABS AND TC for a specific car, however I am still able to tune ABS AND TC intensity from the setup / ECU.

Is this a bug?

It's working as it should. But the ICM doesn't gray out those system. However, if they are deactivated you shouldn't notice a difference when chaning the Numbers over ICM...

So to sum up , I decide to force no assist for the race , however I am still able to play with TC and ABS intensity on the ECU which do not do anything. Am I correct?

Correct...

But AFAIK there will be Improvements for this soon...

Thanks Siberian Tiger for the quick response..

My feeling is that
1 - this is a bug as not consistent with the option ( no assist )
2- even though you disable them , the ECU affects the driving. yesterday racing with a Ferrari 488 and disabling assist both from menu and ECU, the car was definitely more nervous and required more corrections .

It might explain why some gamers think the car are easier to drive than AC.

For those who read this post , can you please try yourself and let me know?

Are you saying there is a layer of TC and SC even though you have turned assists off in the gameplay options?

Yep

Yep

You can verify this by checking the telemetry HUD and watch the ABS or TC modulate brakes/throttle.

Well I could, but what if HUD telemetry is buggy as well ? . I believe the best test is to try the car with ECU parameter set to 0 and check the FFB on steering wheel such as behaviour of the car on the track.

I hope other guys do the same test and come back on the forum. I will retry tonight .

The telemetry HUD shows you when brakes or throttle get modulated. It's not bugged.

So after the Patch 2.0 ABS AND TC intensity are still amendable even though I disable TC and ABS from the main menu??

In real life if a car has no abs or traction control it is not possible to change their intensity. This looks like yet anther bug.

Jeez.

During a career races I swore I saw the TC light up on the HUD few times, even though I had that disabled it or turned to 0. Then I thought, "Nah, must of been some scenery flashing behind it, that wouldn't be bugged on the PS4, too"

Looks like I was wrong.:(

Can someone explain to me if this is an issue and it has been looked at?

Still does not work properly.

but do we think is it a cosmetic issue or does impact on general handling of the car?
