Si I played Project Cars a lot and built a Thrustmaster decent rig with a T150, T3PA pedal set, and a TH8A shifter. Still works great for the original game but if I try to use it with PC2, it won't even recognize it unless I disconnect the shifter from the PS4. I've tried the shifter both connected to the wheel and to the USB and still no luck.

Is the TH8A just not supported?

It works, I've used it. Start the game without it plugged in then plug it in directly to the ps4

He's on pc but it does work as I've been using it for older H shifters. OP you need to change your platform under your name so my earlier answer is void sorry

My problem has been that manual cars can be changed using paddles or shifter even though autoclutch is off. I used a similar setup in PC1 and AC, with no problems. If I use the shifter, I don't have to press the clutch but I do have to press it to start a stalled car.

My rig: PS4Pro, T300GTE, TH8A, T3PAPro pedals

That is PC2 design decision. Not your hardware's fault.

Same here. It only works when plugging it in after the game has started. But then the ffb gets screwed up even more than it is already. My wheel goes to a 45 degree angle after plugging in the shifter.

I assume he is using the Drive Hub. Otherwise it would not be possible. AFAIK

Cool thanks

I remember pcars1 release day my spanking new T300rs didnt make it past the loading screen, new one sent and that overheated, looked at drivehub or something very similar at the time for my trusty G25 but at almost 100 i wasnt gonna buy that when the G29 cost me under 130 delivered.

Its good to see that it works well :)

That makes sense. I have 2 G25. 1 in use and 1 spare service agreement with Logitech. So for me the Drivehub is very valuable.

That 'fixed' it but it is ridiculous that it has to be done that way. Even if I plugged the shifter into the wheel itself, it still wouldn't work.

I have my TH8A shifter plugged into my wheelbase (T300) and have no problems... PS4 Pro.
I have had some troubles with wheel recognition when turning my PS4 on with the controller, so now I use the power button on the console itself, and never touch the controller.
