View Full Version : [known - Investigating] Formula C Tyre Temperature - Help

I'm at Indianapolis Infield with the Formula C, I managed to get my aero, ARB and diff set up quite okay, but I just can't get the tyres up to more than 60C. It's the first race of the Formula C US Championship in career mode, sun is shining, the outside temperature doesn't seem to be the problem.

I tried lowering the pressure, but this just results in a temperature drop in the middle of the tyre and subsequently a loss of grip due to the reduced contact patch. Any other ideas that don't change balance too much?

There's a known issue with the Formula C, I believe it has to do with what you're describing. People have noted that running wet tires in the dry is a possible workaround for now until the devs get it patched. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Correct. Known on the way to be patched. I don't have an ETA though.

Okay, thanks for the information!
At least it's known. Isn't that something one would have found in testing? I mean, it would have been enough if anyone would have driven the car once for three or four laps. Same is with the Ginetta Junior.
