Decided to share this to hopefully inspire some of you in some way. I love this rig. Excuse the crappy video as I almost never make a youtube video but it should give you the idea. This makes the difference for me on Project Cars being playable or not.

Wheel settings are slightly modified from what SuperGT recommended here:

I myself am going to go ahead and upgrade to Xbox one X shortly (mainly due to this game) so this rig is getting an upgrade to 4k TV shortly.

Would love to hear what you guys are using.

Nice set up mate nice to see peoples DIY rigs ;). I'm personally using a Wheel Stand Pro modified by myself and a Logitech G920 with GTEYE spring mods and H Shifter. Im looking at upgrading my my old office chair to something more apt i have a old Civic Type R seat in my garage im gonna modify with a frame im gonna fab up from box steel ;).

Steel frame would be nice. I have no welding skills but am pretty handy with woodworking and such. One day I might tackle a motion rig which would probably require some welding as don't see anything but a steel frame working. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and find someone who is selling a used one. :)

Running XB1- 100" 1080p Epson Projector - 7.1 Dolby Digital - 1.5kw amplification
Rennsport Wheel Stand- Fanatec CSW v2/Forza Wheel - v3 pedals
Dual Galaxy Note (androids) 7" and 8" running crew chief and pcarsDash (both)- mounted to wheel stand . . .
I run a BT device with mic for crew chief- works the charm, and I can really raise the volume in the room and still hear/talk to the crew chief app.
My sound setup can easily reproduce the actual car sounds at RL volumes- my wife hates that.

Can't wait for the patch that opens UDP on the XB1- I'm going to removing all HUD items from the screen.
